I’ll say I’m pretty excited for this game, though I’m unsure how the competitive aspect will go.
If they make single player in the same vein as MK (With a less terrible story and less cheap boss fights) as well as having something similar to challenge mode, then I’ll be pretty happy. For the most part I was okay with MK’s story, but (Trying to avoid spoilers) that part at the end that was used to try and raise the stakes was pretty pathetic.
I hate the way stage transitions work though. Way too long.
I think people are sleeping on Aquaman. I personally don’t care much for the character. But in this game he looks to be very strong. Projectiles, Seismo, Anti-Airs, Pokes
Really? I don’t think he’s being slept on in the least. According to Phase 3 from Injustice Live about half of the people he asked about Injustice at Winter Brawl said they were going to try to main him.

and blackest night stuff is lame. it was so bad, I really don’t need to see people running around with zombie characters just like I didn’t need to see all the people around my town running around with black power rings. eghh.
What is being done to prevent infinites?
The hot fix patching system is much improved, allowing us to tweak many parameters that were not possible before.
Are there limits on combo ability – juggle or string limits?
The only limits in place are that most specials have a unique ID. If the same special is done again in the same combo, it will have different properties. For example, some cannot be meter burned again if already done once in a combo. Others might have a different reaction or have no hit box. Inside of juggles, characters get heavier and heavier with each hit, which also naturally limits combos.

Will there be button shortcuts?**
For those playing on an 5-6 button arcade stick there are shortcuts you can take advantage of. For example 1+2 = interact with background objects, 2+4+6 = supermove, and 1+3 = throw. So if someone wants to, they can play using a PDP Injustice: Gods Among Us Battle Edition stick, Mortal Kombat Tournament stick, or any custom made traditional 6 button layout and won’t have problems.
What are the different properties for hit states?
There are some, like throws, that are inescapable when you throw someone out of a disabled state (like in active recovery frames after a missed attack). Several characters power abilities will affect hit states as well. For example Superman ignores armor when his power is active. Bane adds armor (and projectile invulnerability) to some of his attacks depending on his current venom level. Wonder Woman takes less chip damage when she is in sword and shield stance.

Sort of like the MvC2/MvC3 debate or mentioning DmC. Regardless of the quality of said games or debates, every thread devolves due to these topics coming up.
I agree with Saitsu on this. Although I have to say I never had a problem with the show and thought it did a really great job giving different interpretations of character that normally would have never been thought of for a kids show.
Wasn’t perfect but the amount of vitriol being hurled at the show is way too much. Still better to avoid the topic because the haters can’t get over it.
At least we now know Supes ability isn’t useless. With how many characters that seem to have superarmored moves (some of which look to tank multiple hits) that could actually be pretty useful. It’d be funny if Grappler’s had a hard time online because alot people end up playing Supes.
Also Raven sounded more and more like a main character for me. Full screen grabs?? Yes please. Super fast teleports mid combo? Absolutely. Improved specials during trait mode? Yes, yes, and more yes!!
Yeah, it is very cool that Superman’s rage buff also gives him, well… armor piercing normals, lol. It’s definitely a cool idea, goes well with the whole ‘Man of Steel’ thing. I can imagine him plowing through many supers with a buff like that.
But yeah, Raven sounds great. Hell, everyone seems so…broken. I love it!
Is it just me, or does Wonder Woman look really pretty in this screenshot? Did they fix her face, or is it just the angle? She looks totally different!
I don’t think it’s just a different skin on her face. It looks like it’s been remodeled. I doubt her actual facial structure and features will change from costume to costume.
