Really depends, they say they may have an explanation for why who can beat who, but it may suck, it really stands up to how much you are willing to suspend disbelief. Same goes for the story, it could be great, it could suck, we don’t know yet. As for your issues with Mortal Kombat, they have made some major changes (back to block, a control scheme akin to blazblue, but from the looks of it a lot is going to feel like Mortal Kombat. I say wait for release, read some reviews, watch some gameplay, and maybe ask again when people have had some time with it if you are unsure.

<div class=“QuoteText”>Cool, I appreciate the swift answer, I didn’t know about the button changes.</div>

Oh, i’ll expand a little. The new button scheme consists of light, medium, heavy, trait. The trait button gives each character a unique ability, for example holding it heals cyborg, switches weapons for nightwing, pumps bane up on venom etc.
I should clarify that well the buttons are technically different, they’re still basically the same.<div><br></div><div>Instead of 1234, its 123, character trait, stage interaction, meter button.</div><div><br></div><div>There is no chain combo magic series like you would expect from LMH, it is still combo strings like Mortal Kombat.</div><div><br></div><div>As for the other complaint… its a video game.</div>

<br>I never understood why some people have a problem with that. For me there is no difference between LMH as a combo-starter / hit confirm and for example 112 as a simple combo string. It’s basically all the same, if you can combo further from the 2. <br><br><blockquote class=“Quote”>

Last night I kicked the shit out of Galactus with Deadpool. How isn’t that more over the top than the stuff you’ll get in Injustice?<br><br>The easiest answer to all of that: It’s a video game, deal with it. <br>The better answer is: Even though it’s just a video game NRS will try to come up with a way to explain everything and justify why Harley Quinn can survive being punched by Superman into the orbit. If they somehow manage to come up with a good explanation I’m fine with that and even if they don’t, I’m not going to care, since in UMVC3 Spider-Man can defeat Dormammu, so … who cares.<br><br>What you should rather keep in mind is all the content Injustice is going to provide you for only 50$. Yes, only 50$ … I think they said the cutscenes from their story will be 2 or even 3 hours long and damn, that is long and basically offers even more cutscenes than many single-player games which you’re done with within 5-7 hours of playing and often never touch them again. <br><br>Wait for the reviews, which I’m sure will be stunning, wait for other people in the fighting game community to tell you if the gameplay is good and the game has a feature and then decide if you’re going to buy it or not. <br>But damn, don’t be so freakin’ stupid and let yourself being discouraged by the Joker being able to kick Lex Luthor through few walls -________-<br>

It’s a fighting game. Canon power levels have always meant jack shit in fighting games.

Because in the progression from L to H (or A to C or whatever), a good gatling system will allow you more options during it. You can input more jabs for a more complete confirm, or stagger your attacks for pressure. You can choose to gatling into a crouching M instead of standing, or even some other command normal like an overhead. Many times you can skip certain buttons in the string. It’s multidimensional pressure options.<div><br></div><div>With a built-in string like 1 - 1 - 2, you’re locked into the same combo all the time, with variance being only in the timing of each individual move in the string (and special cancels, but both systems can do that anyway). It’s just restrictive for little reason.</div>

This is why i hate the comic book fans.<br></p><p>It is a fucking video game, a fighting game to boot, the idea is to have a balance between characters</p>
Poor Cyborg he never stood a chance with DC firmly up Arthur’s ass. This was such a mismatch in Aquaman’s favor it’s crazy, loved the gameplay but wished the results were a little less predictable.<br><br>Aquaman looks very fundamentally sound but I’m not seeing anything that screams broken yet which is a bad thing to me because I want a cheaper character. Could be wrong because ya never knw how these games unfold but he only looks solid so far. Green Lantern seems about as over the top as he should be. His Super and winpose are appropriately extravagant and he using a gatling gun in one of his moves which is pretty sweet. <br><br>I actually really liked what I saw from Grundy as well! His trait move I think gave his superarmor or temporary invulnerability either way that will make him a bitch to fight in the corner. I wanna see what the final numbers are on his damage or at least a health bar in an updated build before I even guess how good he’ll be. Whether or he does a ton of damage is key to seeing if he’ll be worth the effort of getting in with (Hagger/Hulk) or a big hitbox with a few tricks (Sentiel/Nemesis)<br><br>Love the footage so far! Not sure who to main yet but Aquaman seems to get alot off his anti-airs…<br>
<font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>Can’t believe it since i’ve been waiting for Aquaman and GL for a while (still happy with them though), but Grundy was the star of the show. Thank god they made the changes they did, I would have at least dabbled with him regardless of how good he was (I almost always like to have one grappler in my repertoire), but he has just raised himself up to a potential main at this point, the nursery rhyme alone sold it for me.</span></font>
In Game:<div><br></div><div>Born on a Monday</div><div>Christened on a Tuesday</div><div>Married on a Wednesday</div><div>Chain stops, gets blocked and Supered</div><div><br></div><div>Me:</div><div>Denied on a Thursday</div><div>Supered on a Friday</div><div>Embarrassed on a Saturday</div><div>Died on a Sunday</div>
I dunno if its just me or does GL feel like he’s lacking in some places? I was expecting him to be as crazy as the comic version with loads of constructs and possibly more levitating moves and what not. I mean I like him so far but really cant see him through. Im hopping im wrong on this one because hes like one of my favorite characters from DC.
