I dislike the way this game has done it’s promotion… or, more specifically, whoever has been “hinting” at characters. A release date, few months away, and I thought there were going to be at very least 10 other characters in this thing. Unless they are story only characters… which I also don’t like. Animal Man, Aqua Man, Black Adam, Blue Beetle, Captain Marvel, Doomsday, Martian Manhunter, Power Girl, Raven, Swamp Thing, I mean… are any of the hinted characters actually gonna make it?

… DLC… I’m sorry, I can’t buy a game when the only characters I want to play would be potential DLC. Especially if this game has an online pass like MK9.

Mostly I was joking, since that’s the thing I do best
So? I already know Doomsday is supposed to be there, but so are 9-15 other characters. Unless they are planning a big announcement in the next 3 months, or a series of small announcements (neither they’ve mentioned or shown to be capable of with the trickle they’ve been feeding us (unless I’ve been missing announcements)), all of these characters being DLC seems to be a great possibility.

I dislike NetherRealms, and most things I’ve been shown about this game so far, but I’m always willing to try a game with characters I like. And as of now, I just don’t think whoever thought out these character hints was thinking very clearly. Don’t get fans excited about something, several somethings, and then not have them in the released game. It’s just bad biscuits, brotha.
Unless, of course, they announce all of the hinted characters (excluding the ones that were choices) over the next few months.
I did. Arts pretty good, as is the writing, though the similarities between this and Kingdom Come are really starting to show. Guy wasn’t bluffing about filler either, with the exception of a few jokes and batman beating up some randoms, this ones all plot exposition.
This game is now Gotham vs DC. I’m a Batman fanatic, but I’ve lost a shitload of interest in this game with the absurd amount of Batman characters. I’ll probably still buy this, but its no longer a day-1 purchase for me
We won’t know who is in the full game until it ships, they don’t seem to have any intention of revealing everyone.
I like how NeatherRealms keep showing new characters with no gameplay footage of them.
