Injustice: Gods Among Us Battle Edition Arcade Stick

I tried diagonal jumps with Street Fighter II HD Remix and DarkStalkers Resurrection, its possible but the stick is a bit loose and it is unlubricated so it will not effect jumps but it hurt your quarter circles.

Will the led boards fit in a ps-14-kn button, or can I install a ps-14g microswitch into the qanba button?

on a related note, whats the closest to a clear version of a ps-14-g button? the kn uses the same switch, but I also liked how flat the ps-14-g was (but dislike how they gave a button and a switch the same name, making it annoying to differentiate the two)

Scroll Up. The Seimitsu button I tried was the PS-14-KN. There LED boards connector will get in way of the Seimitsu Microswitch.
For PS-14-KN try one of the following, Toodles KN Inserts, Paradise Arcade’s Pele or Uila and the ArcEye3.

Also the Sanwa SW-68 Button Micro Switch fits these buttons, so The PS-14-KN Microswitch is too Big to fit. The Microswitch from the PS-14-DNK buttons would work.

Alright. Would the arceye3 work with the current setup they have for powering / controlling the lights, or would I be better off just using the toodle kn inserts

arceye is better off with a toodles FG Widget LED board, board, a Sparly PWM SMD or a Remora RGB Controller

You could wire the existing system into the new LEDs as long as you know what you are doing.

I could be wrong but it could be because of the smaller restrictor gate because you have less room to activate a diagonal.

Sounds correct in theory.

if anyone is modding theirs and putting sanwa parts in their joystick let me know. I am interested in another restrictor plate and bat top off the injustice joystick.

thanks!

I realize; I was just tryin to keep it as stealth of a mod as possible. Wasn’t interested in changing the aesthetics or lighting behavior, just wanted to improve on the parts.

I realize now though, that the kinsert would probably not be the best choice in this case, as I would be stuck with white instead of the original blue. I guess I can hardwire the arceye 3 to be blue, right? And just wire the power / ground in from the current led controller.

Eyup.

Haha! I knew it!

Oh and after reading all this (thanks to all who posted pics and details) I am going into fabrication mode and seeing what a dremel and spare parts can come up with.

Because dremel.

Just need to wrap up the wiring on my current project then I will start this.

As someone already said, Diagonals are so-so. I get 'em to activate and sometimes nothing happens.
Or maybe it’s the result of me tightening the spring on the stock tick to my liking.
I’m not too hot on the stock stick, so I’ll just go ahead and get an extra Sanwa Stick to replace it soon.

I’m really enjoying the stick so far!
Thank You for the guides Kaihong!

A spring wouldn’t make a difference on hitting the diags. It would either be, restrictor, or actuator, the only way a spring MAY affect this is if you weren’t strong enough to move the stick to the corner, which I doubt is the case hehe.

Let me know if you want to get rid of some of the injustice stick parts DanDan.

Has anyone seen a copy of the stick art without the button holes? Maybe in a press kit or something like that? I’m looking for a copy to use in creating a 6 button version of the layout

Just gotta say , Wow I love this case. Nice and compact like the brawl stick.

I know it’s not really as big of a need anymore, but, as promised, here is my exhaustive review of the Injustice: Gods Among Us: Battle Edition.

It’s not really very tech talk-ish (except for some info on modding the buttons) and is more geared toward the average on-the-fence consumer, but, again, I place it here as promised.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS THE LOCKOUT BUTTON DO AND THE PULSE

Are you serious guy?!? Not only are the answers in the first post of this thread but also one of them is on this page. I can possibly understand not reading the entire thread since it’s 5-pages but C’mon, at least read the current page before asking questions, sigh…

BTW, all-caps doesn’t help.

They summon Solomon Grundy and Doomsday respectively to beat the crap out of people who ask stupid questions.
PULSE summons Soviet Solomon Grundy; where in Soviet Injustice, Soviet Solomon Grundy Kills you on a Saturday and Buries you on a Sunday.

Pulse turns on the LEDs of the stick

Lockout locks the functions up top such as start and select.
Pulse turns on the LEDs of the stick when you have vibration on.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I can replace the sanwa switches with these and they’ll work? I’m not a fan of Sanwa sensitivity too much.

Has anyone figured out which plungers drop right into these buttons? Looking for some clear ones. Thanks
