cr. hk, triangle kick back/down angle. if they roll and the kick wiffs, dash back. if they don’t and the kick hits, dash forward. they get crossed up reguardless of what they do.
They can block when they wake up.

the cross up is inescapable. they can block but where will they block. high/low/left/right or will they get thrown??
Isn’t there a tech-roll property stating that once your opponent rolls, and your planning a bachdash XX throw as you stated, they have priority over your throw with a throw of their own? I could be wrong…but not likely.
hold up it eliminates all options of this reset. only way someone will get put into block stun for sure is if its a flying screen combo and you do a normal jump tri jump short into whatever you want to keep them blockking. other wise if i hold up no matter how fast or precise you do the low i jump out. holding straight up gives you a 1 frame jump
i dunno i’m sure you could meaty his recovery with a crossup launcher or a trijump HK. but yeah you’re right… holding straight up should get you out of any trijump short, low short or throw antics 90% of the time. although getting a meaty trijump short wouldn’t be that difficult, from there he can make you guess cause you’re stuck
does it work with forced rolls? cause this wouldn’t be a roll that they input, after he OTGs with the trijump HK the game forces your roll

btw, is this possible on sent. there is a certain part when you cross sent up and he turns and faces the screen. if you hit him at that point with a hard attack he can’t block, right? well, if you utilize this w/ sent’s turn around can this be something worth a fuck. if this doesn’t work then this is pointless and i shall delete this thread without question. :wow:
