UPDATE: The Tournament Has Officially Been Rescheduled to January 12th 2008

For the ppl that came to the last one, you already know what the deal is, but to reiterate:

$2.00 Venue Entry Fee

Marvel - 3S - CvS2 - Tekken 5 DR - ST - Bleach: Blade of Fate (DS)

If there is enough interest (and equipment) GG:AC, Arcana Heart, Soul Calibur 3 AE

There are a number of tentative mini tourneys being discussed:

Turtles Tournament Fighters (SNES) - UMK3 (PSX) - MK4 (PSX) - KI Gold (N64)

There will be mad casuals before and after the tourney.

70/20/10 split for the winners

10 for Marvel - 3S - CvS2

5 for Tekken DR - ST

2 for Bleach: Blade of Fate (DS) - Soul Calibur 3 AE

A few of us will be bringing our gear, but we need all the systems/games/tvs we can get.

As always, bring your own controller, and show my GM we appreciate him by buying food from our Food and Beverage area :wgrin:

I’ll be there to open the gates at 9 A.M. and the tourney has a tentative starting time of 12 p.m. We have to clear out by 11:00 p.m. though.

Hey whats up I ran the last tourney for GW and I am going to run this one again. Just to let everyone know there will be a pot prize of a 100$ for marvel and a 100$ for 3’s for the winner if we can get at least 50 people in each event. This really isint that big of a deal since last time we had about 35 so im making mad shout outs at this I would like to see everyone there espically some of the guys from Canada you win 3’s you’ll be taking over 600 cash not bad for a days work eh. Also for everyone that comes I will be having a special drawing for a PSP one lucky person at the tournament will win a PSP for buying a raffle ticket for just one dollar. The more you buy the better your chances. Also Ray forgot to mention that there will be super turbo there too. Also maybe even some random side tourneys maybe some K.I. and some MK ultimate for some old school people if your for sure you are going please pre-reg just so i have a good idea of what to look forward to and how much stuff to set. I would like to make this tourney as big as seasons beatings, and we can do that with everyones help.
So im hoping all this nice stuff im offering allows everyone to feal obligated that they have to go to this tourney, thanks and hope to see you there.

Hmmm…a psp eh…well I could use another one…

Regardless I’ll be there with at least a TV (maybe 2 just like last time…we’ll see).

Nunes will probably be there too. I will warn you both tho that I might be hungover (there a big party I was invited to in Indy the night before). But I’ll play my best I swear!

Incidentally, (and not really the place to ask but I’m going to anyway) our arcade just recently got third strike. It’s a nice cabinet and all…but when Ryu throws a fireball…he grunts (no hadoken). WTF is that version…anybody that can give me a good answer to that can have a free dollar to enter the raffle at the tournament lol.

Well im still not for sure yet cause the raffle is for a charity and its either going to be a ps3 or a psp maybe both depending on what they want to give me. So anyways the profits of the raffle are going to a good cause.

50 people for 3s will be tough to reach. I thought the last GW had only 18 people in 3s??? Least the one I went to.

Ill try my hardest to come cause I really want to.

I doubt the Canada guys will come. They only travel for majors it seems.

wow, where was this fighting game scene when i lived in indy 6 yrs ago
