is it going to be the SF:Anniversary Collection, PS2 version? im not so good with arcade sticks, but i’ve been playing 3s with a ps2 controller for more than a year, id guess.
and… MvC2 is going to be on dreamcast, right? i’m decent enough with that…
i’ll at least have a couple of friends coming with me.
Gotdamnit…in true Midwest fashion, I’m going to have to decline to this event because I just remembered that my cousin’s wedding is the same day. It’s funny too cause I think it’s not far from this venue. I’ll see if I can slip out for an hour or two to come to this, but I highly doubt it.

As far as the 70/20/10 split goes, ask Desmond about it. His info is in this thread.
Also, you guys should know GW is only providing the venue. Desmond is in charge of the tourney rules, fees, and prizes.
3S at Indy Gameworks eh? I’ll be there. If SSBM is added I’ll probably bring 3 more from southern IL as well.

Well I certainly want ST and I guess I could be persuaded to join that silly CvS2 if they run it. The only thing, in their defense, is that if they keep adding too many games to please everyone then things will get bogged down and that’s just a bad thing overall for the players and the tourney director. We want this to be a good success.
However I can already think of 4 of us that will play ST (myself, you, Dave, and Mario) so if we could get 4 more that’s 8 and that’s tourney worthy at this point. CvS2 is a bit more likely to get folks so I could see an 8 person event in that.
If they choose to run those I’ll be estatic but I won’t hold my breath.
Hey, double posting here just to keep the thread alive and make sure no one gets lazy and forgets about this tournament. We want this thing to really be an awesome success, right? And we’ll probably want to see more of these in the future so everyone keep your interest up and hopefully see you all who posted in this thread and then some more who haven’t. Hey everyone! I thought you guys had a nice tournout this weekend. There were plenty of people who were there to play both games. Very nice.
Chris and Adam: It was great to meet you guys. I wish we could have gotten some more matches in. Let us know when you want to meet up!
Mario: Very fun times. I enjoy the matches and the casual talk. Good luck with the rest of the semester.
Ray: You’re so funny. Everytime Gary did someting, you always had this funny response to go along with his gameplay. Very fun.

Brent: Nice times as always. I wish we could have gotten in some more super turbo but there’s always next time I guess. Also, great job on landing that Spiral super. Very cool!
Eric: I see that you really like to play with Ken. LOL It was nice being able to get in a match with you. My Remy got lucky. Anyway, hopefully we’ll get some more matches in sometime soon.

First off, thank you all for coming out. This was my first tourney, and it went better than I expected.
The next tourney we run will have the following games:
MvC2 - Third Strike - CvS2 - Super Turbo - SSBM
If there is enough interest, we will play Tekken 5.0 as well
Also, THERE WILL be a 70/20/10 split. That was some BS… :arazz:
The tourney brackets won’t be so half hazard… wtf…
In fact, I think we can run this tourney ourselves next time.
