Just found out about this through Gadouken. Any of you game devs on here planning on going? I’m not sure if it’s open to literally every game developer in the area, but I’m sure you can inquire about on the link above. Supposedly Digipen gets to enter its own 3-man team

Sup dudes, I’m organizing this. I didn’t know if anyone on here worked in the video game industry or not so I didn’t post it on here, just sent out emails from work. Just to clarify:
**You must to work for a video game developer to enter. Testers and contractors are fine, but only 3 people can enter from each company, and 3 from Digipen.
And yes, every game developer that wants to enter is welcome to enter a 3-man team.

Didn’t know Pop Cap was local, good shit. Sleeping on the graphics and non-mainstream-game devs tho, if part of the motivation is networking you should open it up a bit more next time. Coulda brought some peeps from Direct3D over there.

It wasn’t so much “sleeping on” as…don’t have connections to… The bigger the better I says, and the hope is for it to grow. I’m just glad people came. I’ve never tried to organize anything before, and my worst fear was no one coming. haha.

I like the bracket effects on the videos and the tournament itself was quite fun. I would definitely be interested in taking part in more of these. However, my name is Ondrej (Dragon Tamer Ondrej for those who have played Pokmon Diamond / Pearl / Platinum), not Andre!
Man, I can’t believe how many times I got a Roundhouse instead of a Fierce or missed d+MKx3 to dive kick to 360. Aaaaarrrgh…that’s what I get for never playing on 360.
