Talked it over with my Cali associates (Guys I play online with in Super and Marvel) and found a plane ticket for 330 to Evo for the summer. Bought that shit, and now im in there. So i’ll have a room set up by like…Next week? Can’t wait to see all of you out there.
If anyone needs help with getting a room and they run out, I’m renting one for 150 a night, but i’ll be by myself, so anyone that wants to chip in an we can get a double or triple bed set up or whatever…Its cool with me, just PM me and let me know.

Man i hope the scene is not deteriorating. I went to clutch and had a blast! But then i went to tilt some months later to see a SSMB tourney and guess what no one was there! I felt confused. I used to think i was the only guy in Nap who could play but later i found out i was wrong! I just think going downtown is a little far. I would have to catch the bus to go to the tilt! I could have went to PowerUp but i had my senior prom to go to. I dont have money to compete in tourneys but i would still go! I just watched a couple of Zap’s vids and it seem liked ft wanye dominated! What happened Nap? I want to be a pro I want to be a legend I want to be to the nap what wolfkrone is to detroit! Real Talk! One last question is the theatre room at tilt available whenever? Because i want in on some weekly casuals!

Nah…The Purdue Ranbat Session is over for Summer Vacation. I was planning on going to Tilt today, but as of now it seems like it would be a waist of time. Not to mention that I’m currently rendering, editing and uploading over 25GB’s of Marvel 3 footage from PowerUp 2011.
Renegade…I’m not going to take you seriously until you start showing up to more tournaments…you can sound off on the board all you want, but until you show up your FREE. We really could have used you at the last T3 and at PowerUp, I think that you would have done really well

I talked with one of the guys at Arsenal Game Room (Arsenal Game Room) last night, and he said that he would be happy to host us on Monday or Wednesday nights. I checked out the space he was offering us and it has a large hd tv in it already. As long as we bring some more screens and our own consoles, we should be set. They’re also willing to promote us as a weekly event as long as anybody is welcome, so we could also possibly grow the scene a bit, too.
They aren’t going to charge us a registration fee for the room as long as people are willing to pick up some food and drink while they’re there. They sell some hobby games, but they seem to make most of their money off of the cafe. The location is pretty good too IMO; it’s in Fountain Square, pretty close to downtown but they have free parking, so it’s better.
So sound off, who would be interested in showing up for a weekly event like this? If there’s enough interest we can start this as soon as next week.
Hey there, I live in Lafayette, and I would love to go to indy to play against some other people. I’m assuming it’s all ssf4 and marvel?
I like other fighters too, but there never seems to be much love for Blazblue / GG or anything that isn’t those above two / mk9.
I mentioned it, but they have free parking right by the side of the building. As long as enough people show up for them to justify giving us the room and people are buying food, they’ll waive the registration fees, so food would be your only expense for the evening.
I really want to get together with the BB/GG/etc players we’ve been hearing from lately, I’m just kind of stuck at the hospital most of the time right now so it’s hard to make any sort of future plans. Hopefully something can be done in the near future, i would really love to play some of those games.
I say let’s make it happen, at least once to check out the venue. I will do everything I can to get there whenever it might be.
I’m not free on Wednesdays. Currently I get together with my group to play on Mondays, but it’s possible that I could try to move that to another day. If that’s possible, I would be interested in driving up at least some weeks, and I could bring a PS3 setup with me.
