Okay, we should try to make some sort official roll call by Friday or so to make sure everyone has a spot. Mike and I will probably drive together since we live so close, I don’t know about anyone else.
I’m currently playing TvC on my computer, it runs really well. I can’t get the save data converter to work so I’m currently stuck racing through arcade modes to unlock characters, which is pretty boring. The game seems less complex than I anticipated, I don’t know if that’s good or bad yet.
I didn’t count out the weeks exactly but just remember that MWC is March 8 so some folks will be doing that. Perhaps the schedule you speak of will miss that date but I thought it was worth a mention. I’m sure you already accounted for that, the more I think about it, so this post of mine is pretty worthless.

It sucks that you have to miss out on these Saturday sessions in Muncie. I hope you like playing Hakan because I know he probably won’t be a good fit for me but I still hope to see someone playing him locally.
i can try to switch my schedule at some point so i can come to muncie more often. i should be able to play on sunday, but my interest in games has kind of dwindled lately because i just want to play SSF4 already. as fas as hakan goes, i know i’m going to play him for sure. i just hope the slight changes to the game system will be enough to make me like it more than SF4.

Dudley looks very straight forward. I want to play someone weird. Blanka doesn’t have enough buffs and his second ultra is supposed to be weak. Adon is supposed to be kinda weak overall.
Good thing, no more trading into ultras a la Ryu and Sagat.
damn not having ready acess to the internet makes me so late on stuff… i prolly can’t make it to paul’s this weekend but if we do it all again next weekend i’ll definitely tag along with whoever… and it’s a totally good idea to have some kinda PU qualifiers there if possible…
me and my brother bank are hitting osirun’s powerup tournament for sure so if anyone wants to compile travel plans just pm me… we’re also trying to get out to MWC but we’d prolly have to roll out there with someone who has their plans laid out already so pm me for that too…
yo eric, we’ve already got our room and registration done and squared away for EVO this year and you’re more than welcome to share a room with us or what have you… so far it’s just gonna be my and my brother in one of the deluxe rooms and our buddy from chitown might be coming with us so we got plenty of room at this point and our plans are pretty solid so lemme know if you want in… the more the hazier y’know
in closing, i got my hands on FFXIII about a week before anyone else, and i just made it to disc 3… i know some more dedicated FF fantics are finished already but i think i’m still making good time… this game is easily one of the greatest FFs in a while… i have trouble deciding who the main character is… the usual rule is: the narrator is the main character… so that would make it vanille… but that would make gaia the main character of god of war and morgan freeman the main character of war of the worlds… so it’s true
Supposedly Ryu can still trade into Ultra, just not off of shoryuken. I don’t know what other moves could do that though. Maybe crouching fierce?
I’m glad to see Dudley is good, but it’s a bit disappointing that everyone will probably use corkscrew blow instead of rolling thunder, and that a lot of the corkscrew blow setups don’t even get the full ultra animation.
I’m pretty much looking at Juri, Ibuki, and Rose right now. Rufus seems like he will play mostly the same but with a few nerfs, so I can probably play him from time to time as well.
