I’m ready to try my Blanka against some new players. Me and TheKnife (Stuart) play each other on occasion and of course only Justin and I play 3s (where is the 3s love at?). Come SSF4 release there will be more jaguars than tigers.
When I was in Cali I heard that Dudley and Makoto are by far the best especially Dudley. Seth Killian has a playable build. Only a small group of people get to play it. They will probably get nerfed though, not the people but the characters.

Paul, PM sent. If enough players come out then we could have one. Not sure if it’s too soon for some players to plan to come out.
There are some up and coming players and new ones to the Indy scene. 4 spots need to be filled. I have to check to see if same character teams are allowed. But we have a wide variety of players so we should be good and we also need to decide the format for the qualifier. We can have one this weekend and another in late March or early April.

it might be better to hold both in may so that way the actual game of the qualifiers can be run. i believe there is a no same characters rule. if you run them in may i’ll enter one of them for sure. SF4 isn’t my game cause i can’t find a character i really enjoy playing. hopefully super changes that. HAKAN!!

paul, are you trying to always make this a saturday thing? because if so i could try to change my work schedule if they’ll let me. then i’d be open whenever on every saturday.
Sounds good, TheKnife has a really good Honda too and I think he plans on entering the qualifier.
Only thing of waiting for the SSf4 release is that it could get pushed bag and we maybe not be able to have a qualifier that a lot of players will be able to attend.
is he going to Nannie’s this Saturday? Would look forward to a mirror match with him… I don’t get too many of those.
i doubt the release would get pushed back again since the only reason it was pushed back at all was to avoid being released this month and competing with top titles like final fantasy 13 and god of war 3. the game has already finished development and once it goes gold i’m sure people will be popping up with early copies in a month or so. so yeah, since the 5v5 is SSF4 the qualifiers should be SSF4.
Jesu, you’re right. I was thinking the tourney was in mid May. PowerUp is at the end of May so we have a full month to have the qualifiers. We’ll just hold 2 qualifiers in May when SSF4 is released. One the first weekend and another one 2 weeks later. Sound good to everyone?
I think a ranbat at Paul’s this weekend would be fun though. I’ll bring my ps3 and a copy of 4 plus a ps3 stick. What’s the carpool situation looking like. I’m gonna check to see if Justin, Andy and Stuart want to go.
