Tilt $10 Tuesday (T3) SSF4 Tournament 12-7-10
alright alright alright… the last went over pretty good… so i’m happy to announce that i’ll be holding another T3 SSF4 tournament on December 7th
When: December 7th, starting at 6:00~6:30 with a bit of a grace period since we all run on gamer time
Where: of course the tournament will be held at the Tilt arcade downtown at Circle Center Mall
we get a basic run of the arcade at your own discrection… bring you TILT cards but we wont need em for SSF4
What (rules): $10 entry fee, $8 with a setup (TV, PS3/360, with SSF4) SSF4, 2/3 rounds, 2/3 matches, double elim., 99 seconds the usual
last time we had just enough for a full 16-man bracket with a few dropouts, but this time with a more gratuitous headsup i don’t doubt that we’ll end up with more players than that
so given that little tidbit we won’t be able to run the whole thing on the arcade cabs like last time, and we’ll prolly have to move to the 4D room where we used to hold NTC… so if you bring a setup with SSF4 i knock your entry fee down to 8 bucks and I’ll fill out the rest of the pot myself … the reduced waiver list ends once we get a garunteed 5 setups
PM me if you want on the waiver list, or if you wanna pre-reg… In the meantime i’m gonna plaster this all over the Indy boards and inboxes to get some of our local players that missed out last time

I’ll be there. I’ll see if Kent can come, he just told me he bought Super off of Amazon. I also have a new setup (Bigger TV+360) and my old setup with the slightly smaller TV. I may have to bring Set #2, since my newer TV would be a slight bit more of a hassle to get in there. Set #2 can fit in a DJ bag without much trouble.

i don’t have a good time yet (i’ll post again if/when i find one) but two of Fort Wayne’s players, MasamuneShadow and LilMuskrat, suddenly seem to hate each other and will be playing each other in 5 different Street Fighter games. each player is putting up a whopping $350 of their own money, not fronted by a millionaire poker pro like many other high stakes matches. the person to win 3 or more of the games takes the entire $700 pot. 
don’t ask cuz i dunno anything more about it than what i’m posting here.
the games will be arcade ST, arcade A3 Upper, 2nd Impact, 3rd Strike, and SSF4. i didn’t choose the game selection, just going by what i was told so again don’t ask on a few of the selections.
just figured something like this would generate some hype. i’m going to try live streaming their matches from my phone tomorrrow night when it goes down. all i know is that it won’t happen until at least 7pm at the earliest. again this is going down tomorrow night. Saturday, November 12.

ok after a little testing i am sad to say that trying to stream from my Evo 4G sucks. it will be a real choppy stream that will be hard to watch i imagine… regardless i’m still gonna try it :tup:
I don’t really play SSF4 much anymore and they aren’t having 3s but I might still go with you all up there. If this new AE character ends up being Urien I’ll pick it back up seriously.
I am going to be down there to check out the area this upcoming weekend. I’m not sure if I’ll have extra time or transportation, but I might send you a message if I can do something, if you’re up for it. I’ve been itching for some good offline play for a good while now.

pfft… projected numbers for the next T3 tourney already beat the last one… looks like an earlier notice is all we were missing from the first one… so far we got 317, and Purdue coming, FW are trying to decide on a ride and i can only assume Ghettodave will be repping bloomington… sweet… I just can’t wait… i really wanna see Zap play Mario or Justin or Dave or any of the other 3S pros… just to see who sits where
fyi, If i manage to take out Dom, Toni, and whoever else and win the T3 then i’m going to Steak&Shake with the winnings so anyone who’s still hanging out and wants a shake is welcome to join me… Oh yeah i forgot to mention in the tourney post that if anyone needs me for anything just gimme a call, I think everybody knows my # already

well i’d love to hold a ST or HDR event but I don’t have the facilities… but i’ll definitely work on it… i got a girly girl who says she has a ST cab out in cali… im gonna try to charm her into getting out here… in between her having my children that is

if you could pull that off that would be crazy (in a good way). i mean i’d settle for the Dreamcast version or classic mode in HDR. of course a real arcade game would top both of those ideas. and also of course it’s common knowledge to say that all 3 of those ideas top HDR itself.
make it happen dude and i’ll do everything in my power to keep myself available to come play that Tuesday.
