Yooo i’m new to competitive ssf4 I live right in the middle of Indy, was wondering where you guys meet at to play ssf4 some might know me, because i’ve only been to 1 ssf4 tourney and played some peeps that went to super smash bros brawl tournies just to play ssf4; I main dudley and I like to combo =d as said, I’d like to get into this game competitively and would like to know where exactly you guys usually hang out and play this bad ass game =_)
Tilt in Circle Center is the only public place that has the game. Otherwise we just play at someone’s house.
I’m thinking about going to the next Arcade legacy tournament, I think it’s on the 25th. Mario, are you interested in going too?
edit: I also got the PS3 version of BBCS now if anyone has that. Now they just need to release the Valkenhayn DLC today as scheduled.
Kyle, I’ll be picking up the PS3 version of BBCS and maybe the 360 version too. I don’t get much chances to play these days what with preparing for the CPA and stuff. On the plus side it looks like I can go to Denjin and Japan next year because I’m gonna get PAID!!! GET DAT FIGHT MONEY!

I did better with Storm/Sent/Psy vs it. I should have just stuck to it. Toward the end of the night I was just getting hailed and killed. hahaha

When do you guys usually go the arcades? btw I was at one of the tournies in emerson if you guys remember that BS of a tourney lmao breaks every 3 minutes of a game =/… I was the dudley that placed 2nd and lost to that chun li =(, I have excuses cause I had to use that friggin 360 controller!

Do you think you can drive over to my house? My grandmother hurt her arm recently and needs help doing pretty much everything so it will be hard for me to get away early. I was planning to leave at like 10:30 or 11:00 since the ranbats start around 2:00.
I have two more seats in my car if anyone else wants to come, but the backseat is kind of small.
Quentin, I’m still using Tager horribly. I’m trying to learn Ragna but the dashing in between hits in combos is throwing me off. Also tried Hazama a little.

was up at tilt this past tuesday… gotta say i’m loving my new schedule that lets me trek up the the arcade when i want… makes me feel young again… the 2P side of the 360 SSF4 cab won’t block low on the 2P side for some reason… i let Vic know about it so hopefully it gets fixed… other than that just keep in mind that i gotta bail outta the mall and head into work by 5:30 so if you’re looking to face my killerbee you gotta catch me before i leave
… i’m gonna try to get Vic to let me hold a Indy only mini tournament the tuesday before SB:R so lemme know if you guys are up for that… and if that goes well i’ll see about comandering the 360 cabs maybe once a month for a regular tournament… i’m thinking we could link them together no problem like the jap arcades if they’ll let me… i also for some reason feel the need to see if they’ll let me do a huge SF theme graffiti piece on the projection wall if they’ll let me… pro bono of course but i still gotta talk to em about that

Other info: I’ve limited myself to playing BB because of the netcode and because of the fast-paced, combo-heavy gameplay. I wanted to learn how to play GG and MB but there wasn’t much point in doing that if there is no one to play with and I don’t remember if they have GG or MB at the Circle Center Mall.
So let me know if there are any gatherings near Indianapolis and I’ll try to be there. I’ve gone to two of the “Naptown Clash” tournaments at the Circle Center Mall if that helps. I’m just not trying to go through 1+ hour drives just to play

Haha, gg’s as usual Matt. Everyone has gotten better in HNK, Dandy J was doing some stuff I see in those Japanese tourney vids. 60+ hit combos, I’ll be ready for that next time.
Quentin- Hazama probably has the neatest combos I’ve seen in that game. I’ll try to learn him although I think Arukune and Carl are cooler characters.
