Yep, nice to meet the two of you guys who showed up to Tilt on Saturday! Definitely fun, hopefully I can drive down more often. My other friend I was there with lives in Indy and will definitely be going out to play more if people are around. He’ll probably make a SRK account soon.

How much does it usually cost to play at Tilt? I didn’t even know GameWorks went out of business.
I can’t remember their pricing or how their credit system works on their custom Xbox 360 cabinets, other than the fact that they run on a timer.
What I DO remember is the fact that Tilt is, obviously, going balls-to-the-wall with that place. SOOOOOOOO many more games there now since last time I was there back when they were Gameworks (my last visit was about two years ago).
The console machines are $1 for 7 minutes, which is pretty good considering it covers both players’ time and other arcades might charge you as much as $1 per credit on a normal arcade machine.
The only time to get the full worth out of it is to go for 10 dollar Tuesday.
If all you wanted to do was play SSF4, and you got like 4 people together, you could keep the machine running for 4 or 5 hours at a cost of about $10 a person. Obviously 10 dollar Tuesday is more flexible, but it can still be pretty cheap on other days.

Well I just moved back at the beginning of July, now that my wife and I both have jobs here now. We’re finally settled in (though we’re both teachers and school is starting soon - ugh!), and I’ve been getting back into playing SSF4 a bit when I can. I play a little bit of 3rd Strike, but never played Marvel or anything, and just barely know how to play BlazBlue. Basically SSF4 is the only thing I really know (and even that’s debatable haha). I’d love to play with you guys sometime, just wasn’t sure of what kind of stuff actually happened and when. Whenever you guys are having people over, feel free to PM me and I’ll see if I can come. I’ll try to check here more often to see if people post on here as well.
What system do you play stuff on, and would I need to bring my own stick and all that? Hopefully I can come meet people sometime soon.

GGs to everyone. I suck at SF4 but at least I was able to meet everyone’s expectations in Continuum Shift. Five minutes in an actual training mode and I was able to resolve one of the issues I was having with Lambda’s combos that has been plaguing me for months. 
I’m trying to play CS sometime but can’t afford a copy at the time being. If there is a get together I’m ready to play it. There were some new players at Tilt but they all left when me and Justin started playing. Too much tap dancing with Seth I guess.
GGs Riot. Like I said online…those demon setups were nasty. Just when I thought I had you with Ultra 2 Gouki was all like, “YOUR” end has come, come get some of this messatsu. Suffice to say Bison’s “Nooooo” expressed my disappointment perfectly lol. Lets get some matches in again sometime.
=) Yeah, since I exclusively play Akuma I’ve had plenty of time to mess with ultra setups. I’m still dumb with it a lot of times and throw out random ones accidentally. I’m pretty bad against all the “B” characters (Bison, Balrog, Blanka) and it helped me with the Bison match up. I still don’t really know how to get out of the low jab low jab scissorkick bread n butter string.
GG just invite me whenever you see me on to play =) I’m out of town this weekend though.
