I stopped by the Emmerson, they didn’t open doors to reg til 7pm and I’m pretty sure they had 1 screen. I stepped in early and the guy at the desk had no idea what system it was on. I said fuck it and left. Hopefully it wasn’t as bad as my first impression, but I didn’t even feel like bothering with the mess

Tourney was kind of meh. The big shocker was there was actually a decent level of comp there. That took me by surprise, but it was poorly ran and barely organized. That said, it was cool to meet some of the new guys. I’ll be sure to hit you guys up with friend requests so we can get matches both off and online in the future. Good shit to Dr. Dong, your Chun Li kept me right at bay with her pokes. Stay tuned for details about the next Naptown Clash, we’ll be sure to deliver a proper tourney; you guys deserve it.
We definitely need to start playing at Tilt. Lets post up our availability so we can see about getting ranbats going. I’ve seen how smoothly a league system can work first hand so its definitely possible.

i was the akuma that played first, never got a chance to play my 2nd round… btw you said that cabinet in tilt ran off a 360, does that mean i can plug in my controller? i can’t use arcade setup lol

It runs on a 360 and has two USB ports, I’m not sure if that means you can use your own controller but from what I can tell it certainly seems so.

good shit last night guys… i told you the venue was lowkey… i think it was fun but from a SRK head point of view, it was poorly ran and there was ridiculous interference with the acts going on and everything… but i think it’s a strange round about learning experience… good way to learn to deal with distractions… music was pretty raw too… and i wanted that trophy bad… i’m gonna see about talking to 8 and helping him improve the future emerson show tournies for FGers

im sure glad there is a scene for this game in indy, but honestly i’ve seen better tournaments run in a broke down basement somewhere in the outskirts of gary, IN. If u wanted to leave the mandatory music show, u had to pay a re-entrance fee… wtf?? And while im being honest, Im pretty sure i heard “FUCK UR TOURNAMENT” from 60% of the people trapped in that hell hole establishment… Im glad i was bumped out early, because if i had to play with juggalos glaring and bumping me in the back while i played, there would have been involuntary stage diving… Thanks for the chance to be in a pretty hostile environment, my ears are still ringing from the trash i had to swallow through my ear holes that day… “The bowl, the spoon, the milk, the cereal”, nuff said about the depth to the lyrical genius’ who held the tournament ransom for their 15 minutes… plz don’t do this again… ever…
