Playing Super. Hooked. Guy, Juri, and Hakan are my favorites so far. Hakan’s wife is HAWT. Juri is psychotic in a sexy way. Guy is awesome, merely because he is Guy.

I like new players. I just don’t like it when they start up their parries, trijumps, fireball zoning, tick throwing, tachi gigas is CHEAP BAAAAWWWIIIINGGG
parries take skill out of the game, tri jumps are overpowered, my characters special move should go through fireballs, and there should be a much longer cooldown on assists in MvC3 to stop overpowered assist spamming.

seriously, i hope you play super ray. hopefully we’ll see you VS games guys around more often. i finally got around to reading secret invasion and the thoughts of characters like luke cage and iron fist in MvC3 is getting me so hyped. i’m hoping they put cloak in there. one MvC2 character i hope they keep is blackheart.
man… if they threw luke cage into the fray… the world would be likely to cease it’s revolutions
btw i have no problem with tick throws, parries, trijumps, or any of that stuff… i was raised in the arcades so if you can do it it’s fair game, and if you so happen to lose some money or respect… you learn from it

Aaaaaand I still have no idea how to handle an even mediocre Rog player in SSF4.
Also, how is DeeJay supposed to be used now? He’s my favorite character in ST but I can’t do shit with him in SSF4.
he plays pretty similar to ST. what’s different is that his easy combo into untechable knockdown gives him a lot of options that make him an offensive beast. i just play zoning until i can get a knockdown and then try to experiment with it. lots of info in the deejay forums though.
Good games to Indianapolis people. Mario, HnK is always a good time. I hope you figure out that T.Hawk match in SSF4. Kyle, I like it when you show up. We get to play cool games like GG and AH. Sorry we didn’t get more GG in, but I’m trying to put a little more effort into Super 4 for now, and with the way Makoto is feeling, I’ll probably need to put in all the effort I have.
The EVO monitor is out of production now. Fortunately, all you need to know to find similar monitors is that you want A) 2ms response time and B) 1920x1080 native resolution. There are a number of monitors out there from different companies that meet these specifications so you can shop around for price or other features.
I don’t think Juri is going to be that dangerous. She seems really good at first, but it’s not that easy to hit confirm into her damaging combos, and if you try to hit confirm with the cr.LK st.LP cr.MK pinwheel combo and the opponent was crouching your st.LP will whiff and you’ll lose your combo, which leaves cr.LK cr.LK pinwheel as your only really good hit confirm combo and it does a lot less damage. She’s not like Rufus where your combos are the same as your blockstrings so you can kind of go on autopilot and still be safe.
She has some decent stuff, and you can theoretically get 350 to 400+ damage off of corner combos with stored fireballs, but I think in the long run she isn’t going to be considered a top contender unless someone discovers something crazy, and I think she is too straightforward of a character for that to be very likely.
That’s cool, I mainly came to make sure I got my arcade stick back so any non-SF4 that I played was just a bonus. Maybe next time I’ll have some better Lieselotte tricks to show off.
