GGs to Rob, Zaps, and Gerald’s friend at umvc3. It was pretty fun. Still need to work on a few things. I don’t understand why everyone thinks Vergil is top tier though, his teleports are easy to block. 
Also I forgot to ask but are we having the Arsenal meet on Friday, being after Thanksgiving and all?
I may actually make it down to Arsenal, next Monday, as I actually took that day off from work. Rumor has it that you have more of a turnout, when compared to Friday’s, so that’ll be cool.
Because the one thing that I absolutely need is to have even MORE people blow me up in UMvC 3… /sarcasm
We had at least 12 people there last night. Bill was pretty overwhelmed with food prep, and unfortunately people got their food late. Still a good time though.

What you know about Drive / Super Cancel’s?! KOFXIII is the shit…Fuck the haters!
The UPS man dropped off my copy of KOF XIII today and the game is great! I played it practically all damn day today. The majority of my time was spent in training / trial mode, but I did get to play Zamza in a 6 match series and the net code is not too bad. I would say that it’s more than playable, but it’s not GGPO spot on. I need to play some ranked / player matches to get a real feel for the net-code.
I know that the majority of you guys are on that Marvel. But you should really consider picking up KOF…The new mechanics / cancel system is on point & The Desperation (Supers) / Neo Max moves are beyond HYPE!
To put it plainly I’ve put more time into KOF (Day 1) than I have in Ultimate…and that shit just dropped last week. I’m going in on KOF hard body! And even though I can’t make it to Arsenal until 7pm / 7:30pm on Mondays I’m still going to bring a dedicated KOF set up from now on.
I’m in there! Is anyone else going to join me and Zamza on the KOF XIII train? Or are we going to have to be online warriors?

i play on 360 and use a madcatz fight pad, so is there usually a 360 sf4 set up? or am i going to need to buy a ps3 pad? also if anyone is online leave your gt, i’ll be playing throughout the day on xbl.

I need more time in training, I got to spend about 10 minutes with Ralf before being thrown into the fire. The game is fun but having never played a KOF, there’s a lot that I don’t understand. It’s gonna take some time to get used to, but it wasn’t as unfamiliar as marvel was for me. It doesn’t look like there’s a dedicated lame character like dhalsim, so I’m gonna have to learn to actually rush down :O.
Overall it’s a lot of fun. I hope you guys give it a chance.

Zamza and ZAP: count me in:tup: I bought it the other day but have not had a chance to play. Who all did you two play as maybe I can help. To start of I’ll be playing Terry, Joe, and Duo Lo n and maybe Clark but I’ll eventually play most of the cast. The ex characters look really good.
Worst case scenario, I have a madcatz ps3 pad and I will usually be there every monday. As far as this friday, It’s still a coin toss if I will make it.

@highwind: I always bring my 360 setup and I’ll make sure to bring my copy of AE. Though I can’t guarantee that my setup won’t be in use for IIDX or 3s.
I’m definitely playing King, and that’s about all I know. I’ve been playing around with Ralf as well, and I can see myself playing him. Other than that, I liked Andy, Kula, Athena and Duo Lon. I’m still trying to feel out the characters, so I’m not sure. I get the feeling that the game doesn’t want you to zone, as I can’t find any characters that feel like Claw or Dhalsim.
I I didn’t get an answer last time so I’ll ask again will we be meeting up on Friday this week/
Also I’m thinking of Terry, Kim, Andy, Kula, and King as characters I’d like to try out. I just hated kof12 so bad that I didn’t make kof13 a major priority this month. Maybe next month I will try to get it. But I’d like to play it and test it out to see how it plays and feels.
