Improvements or changes you would like to see in SFV

Dash up grab is the shit with Bison

Dashing speed in this game is about the same as prior games not called SFIV (it feel’s pretty close to 3S dash speed) and I wouldn’t say that dashes negated neutral in those games.

They didn’t have the crazy input delay that makes it prohibitively difficult to react to said dashes either. If capcom fixes it then I’m cool with how dashes function in this game, for now IMO they kind of put the derp in neutral.

Shorten the amount of time you have to stare at the win/lose screen. I wanna play more matches; I don’t care about fight money or XP; you should be able to mash X past it win or lose.

This game needs speed. A turbo setting or something comparable would do. Please, I’m drowning in molasses.

Some tweaks to make characrers more unique e.g. different damage for normals, no more punishable hp lmao

Remove that extreme pause that encourages mashing and basically eliminates execution requirements. It makes the game boring. This could be implemented with my first request.

All menu should be the same as when I last used them.

Even when going from one characters Trials to another I have to switch it to notation instead of move names. That should be a universal setting.

. Region filter for matchmaking
. The ability to actively choose who to scout out on ranked/casual like in sf4 instead of just random pairing
. Fix the input delay, more people should be bitching about this and moreso than anything else
. Training mode settings should be saved, including any set wake-up/on block actions
. When setting the dummy recovery to random, it seems like they’re skewed to just not do anything at all. Would like a setting where the dummy only does back or quick rise to speed up the process of learning how to adjust and time proper meaties

the game needs to seriously fix the long waiting times/loading screens between matches. it’s beyond belief in this day and age that capcom is moving backward with regards to this aspect. we live in a world where we can stream movies, tv shows, games and our lives reside in the cloud and we have instant access to information. computer hardware and internet speed is growing exponentially yet somehow this game feels so poorly optimized that it may as well be the early 2000’s.

The loading is worse than sf4 and completely unacceptable for a fighting game, which was no less built around online competition. I do not want to watch loading and waiting screens for 5-10 min for a match then play for 2 minutes. It is just an inefficient use of my time and I’d rather be doing other things if I can’t enjoy the SFV experience. It really turns me off the game. Above all else, this has got to be the first thing that gets fixed.

The LP system is retarded at times. If I get to gold, it’s impossible to stay there because I get matched with a bunch of ultra silvers just 30 lp from gold, and losing to them costs me 80-90 LP, but I only get like 20 lp from beating them.

Get rid of mandatory T-Rex arms. I want to be able to do cr.Jab/Shortx3 xx shit again. Scale the damage if you want.

It’s mostly the pushback that causes this, but yeah agreed. No one here will agree with you though besides me, they all stuck on that ā€œit’s like 3sā€ shit.

But I never played 3rd strike. Tell you what, you get your :l: x3 back…but it doesn’t lead into anything. I think that’s fair.

I think having fundamentals good enough to keep people from dashing in on you or getting blocked jumpins… Which are what allow confirms in the first place… That’s fair.

So when in doubt jab out and get full confirms? That sounds…fun.

They could speed up the game/remove the massive hit pause and this wouldn’t be a problem.
