Improvements or changes you would like to see in SFV

Where can I find hard numbers though, and not just a description saying “So-and-so’s V-Trigger augments their attacks and makes dem better! Hur-dur.” Hell, even the guide basically says that. It’s like Capcom themselves don’t even know. rolls eyes

Keep the balance I guess. I dunno. It’s been like this since forever. Though I would like to see what it would be like if the opponent gained NO meter for anything if they are hit.

Gilley’s frame data has a lot of it

I don’t know how far along VFrames or the official guide are in terms of V Trigger frame data.

I don’t know if this has been mentioned or not. Probably could be a topic of its own I don’t know.

If you choose to skip a dlc character over another. Won’t that effect training mode if you can’t select them as dummy?

I only say this because I want to pick and choose and perhaps sample how the character plays first before committing fight money to it. Especially if this game eventually has a large roster. They should have them selectable in training just to allow learning the match up properties if anything.

I’m sure this isn’t how it’ll be and the select screen will be locked between all modes uniformly…

It’s just a thought, I’m sure it’s well and reasonable to play normally to unlock everything but what is a normal amount of time to fm?

Depends on what you do, there’s over 1 million FM to be farmed in the game already. The thing is the online modes aren’t giving enough FM to sustain big 100k+ purchases so you’ll have to use the finite amount of FM you can acquire through the single player modes to fund your big purchases like characters. There is above 1 million FM currently to earn through survival and story, but with challenge mode and daily quests coming up in the March update we could see the earn rates of FM go up exponentially. Especially if the challenge mode has 20k+ FM payouts, because challenge mode should be fairly easy to do considering how easy the games execution is.

I wager 10k FM from the challenges.

Completing a single characters? 160k wouldn’t be bad at all, add on Alex’s if he gets them and you have 170k, and Alex’s survival/story mode also offer probably around 100k altogether as well. Shit, can you earn all the FM back from purchasing a character by completing all of their single player content? If you can AT LEAST cover 60% of the costs Capcom are fucked, they’ll be like 0 need to buy a season pass.

I guarantee you people WILL buy the season pass. question is how many? And do we have any actual details on how the challenges will actually work?

Got a question. Why is there so much block stun in this game?

… no?

If anything there isn’t enough blockstun.

Toggle voice chat in Battle Lounge and training mode reset button re-mapping. My fightstick doesn’t have a LS3 button and makes it impossible to do a quick reset.

I find it odd that there is like 0 hit stun. Im usually hitting players clean and they sometimes hit me while I’m recovering lol. I really don’t understand that at all.

What about this crazy idea, for the 80’s die hard Karate Kid fans

Wax ON
Wax OFF
V-Trig ON
V-Trig OFF

It

There’s not much in this game that should be so negative ON HIT to do that. What move are you hitting with? It might be that you’re just slightly negative after and you’re trying to throw out a poke or something and getting interrupted.

Jump in attacks that hit early.

also, I’d like Capcom to take a feature that CS:GO has for rage quitters and its to punish them by not allowing them to play ranked/competitive match making for 1 hour for the first rage quit. The rage quit punishment timer gets higher the more you rage quit… like if you rage quit twice in a day the second offense will be like 7 day punishment. On top of that, they can allow you to buy a get out of jail free card for 100k fight money if you rage quit and dont want to wait.

I noticed when the server craps themselves and you don’t see you opponents LP in ranked it gets a bit more exciting; you don’t know what will happen. Not having it show until after the game is the way to go.

Also, showing how many times you’ve met your opponent before and who have won the most games would be really sick.

I like this. Some other games have a “Rival” / “Revenge” tag/marker on such people to let you know who killed you/crashed you (for example Burnout games did that)

The turn based gameplay is currently pissing me off to a very high extent.

Being -2 on moves at point blank range that are super hard to confirm or can’t be confirmed really sucks the fun out of fighting games for me.
Who’s idea was it to make these games all about this safe space wishy washy turn based BS with shit throws shit over heads and shit chip damage. Game seriously fails in certain aspects.

“hey guys, we are going to make the next streetfighter focus on commitment, that way the game will reward people for blocking instead of the people rewarding themselves for blocking, and while we’re at it we are going to take those cheap ass tick throws and nerf the hell out of them, they are way to easy to do”

I don’t really get that, you want moves like rashid’s spinning mixer or laura’s shoulder to be neutral or plus on block? That sounds like it would get really stupid, really fast.
