"A bunch of us have been making requests for a console release of Virtua fighter 5r for xbox360 and ps3 on
sega’s facebook wall. I’m trying to get as many people involved in this as possible to help convince Sega
that fighting game fans outside Japan really want to have the same opportunity as the japanese to play the game.
So far this year, almost every other fighting has seen or will see an updated release but there has been no word on
a port for VF5r which is almost a year old in the japanese aracdes. Please help the cause…

and then you should see all of our posts already up there. Occasionally you’ll get someone requesting something like shenmue 3 and as much as I want to see everyone get what their favorite games made, the big difference between something like shenmue 3 and VF5r is that VF5r already exists in the arcade and just needs a port. Please help us get this game made!
^ yeah. While I agree, we really do represent a small amount (those being vocal). So I understand their hesitance but man, I’d buy two copies if it helped bring the game lol.
I’m making a facebook just to do this. That and I want to play as Jean no matter how badly I know he probably sucks if Am2’s history with adding new characters holds up.
If this does come to fruition, most likely what we will get is version C. They should just give us R and IF an FT version comes out 2 years from now, give us a DLC upgrade for it.

Osaki: Well, you know I’m not actually in the home department, but your interpreter over there is… how about you ask him? [laughs while interpreter shakes his head laughing as well]. I can’t give a definite answer, but if we get a lot of requests from users, then it’s definitely possible. We just don’t know yet.
