Yeah…people act like no Marvel at Evo next year will wave the magic wand for no more thugs at Evo. I’m not going to say names or anything but stuff broke down at Evo East this year and the game the drama circled around wasn’t Marvel and none of the people involved were black thug lookin peepz.

In all seriousness, this is something that’s important to crack down on EARLY, for image purposes. Look at the NBA’s current reputation and how hard that’s been to shake!
Or for a better example, all the recent problems in the NFL. The truth is that crime rates are no higher among pro athletes than the general public, but most people don’t care about the truth - only whatever the media says is the truth. And the media loves to focus on any dramatic incidents involving celebrities. That’s why the new commissioner Goodell is throwing around all these massive suspensions - he wants to create a strict environment where it becomes too costly to engage in such behavior.
It looks like the Cannons want to do the same thing, and to that I say “Bravo!”

- marvel helped make evo what it is(why do you think its always the last event) so until people stop playing it is going no where.
- new york originated shit talking in marvel which begat money matches NOT fights. we talk shit but never in a mean spirited way. Erik(smoooth Viper) can get out of control sometimes but he never makes therets of physical harm, we keep it in the game.
- last i checked every body talks shit now, see DP vs. J dub’s low teir match.
It seems like the people who most often cross the line are cats who aren’t very good in any particular game. they still wanna make a name for themselfes so rather then being the best player they try to be the toughest.
