I’m planning on attending, but mainly as a spectator. I might even shoot some video and put it together for a mini documentary or just tournament coverage spliced with interviews from some of the participants. Sounds like a lot of fun Haywood!
More than likely SSF2HDR will be ran off of a Playstation 3 simply because it’s most compatible with legacy controllers and arcade sticks. But there will be no games that will be ran off of original Xbox. Street Fighter Anniversary and a PS2 will be beautiful if you bring them both in.
Yes, that would be great. You missed my last three other tournaments. Hopefully you can make it to this one as I had plans to put together a documentary as well. Maybe with your help, this can actually be made into a reality! I hope to hear from you soon and I also wanted to talk with you on another idea I had. I wanted to record a radio show (not live but just record it there) on everything as well and make it into like a podcast for later on. I’ll talk about that and other things with you when I can get on the phone with you.

By the way for anyone wanting to watch those 3rd strike Videos rejoice! I met you half way. I’ve uploaded the entire footage online. The downside, you have to download the entire file from Megauploads. Lastly, I will upload (tomorrow) a scanned copy of what Metalmike wrote down as far as who is playing who, etc. that way we can all try to make sense of who is playing who according to the sheet he was writing down.

What do you guys think about putting a low tier Marvel tournament in either Day 2 or late on day 1?
^We would need a really specific ruleset concerning “low-tier”. But I am sure many people would be participating.
I know alot of people want to sign up for team tourney marvel, but there is some confusion; 2 person teams or 3 person teams? As soon as I know this, I will add it to the pre-reg list.
To be placed on the pre-reg list, please give me your team name, and all the members of the team. Bear in mind that you can use the same characters, but not the same teams.

Im pretty sure both low tier and TT marvel are gonna happen on a “if time allows” basis.
IMO, a TT would warrant more interest (in an “entry” perspective) than a low-tier.
More people would join the TT as opposed to the low-tier if they are going to have to pay. Just what I think. I might be completely wrong :tup:
2v2 for all the tournaments. I need make that clearer in the original post. I’ve yet to come to a decision for what would be the best price for each team. Yes, there will be a 3rd Strike team tournament and of course you will not be allowed to pick the same character on the same team except for Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 team tournament.
It will be on a “if time is allowed” but I think Sunday will have enough time since there aren’t too many other games in the way. The whole reason I wanted to add another day to this tournament was for team tournaments and so we wouldn’t have to even come close to cutting another tournament short again.

Sorry, I think 2v2 would be more suitable because if it’s 3v3 I don’t think we’d have very many teams.
