If anyone is staying in the hotel (Days Inn) on the first page the only way to get it for $51 a night is to reserve the room through Orbitz.com. If not, you’ll have to pay their regular rate of $55 a night which is four dollars more if you just show up and reserve the room. Either way, that’s a good rate on rooms. A major advantage of not being in down town Atlanta. However, for Impact Clash IV I am going to try my best to find a venue that is on the bus line but at the same time give a good price and great hotel rates.
I’ll probably get a room, since it’s nowhere close to where I stay. That’s if I come though, but I should be able to make it this time.
Zack, I’m not sure I can low tier you. According to the low tier rules, Dhalsim can’t be used for runaway precautions. And yes my Dhalsim knows how to infinitely runaway and teleport. The be honest with you, I really don’t have any strong low-tier teams to run. But I’ll probably invent one before it’s tourney time.
Eddie, I’m sure I can beat you as long as you don’t use MSP. But I like playing against MSP, even though they’re difficult. So I can do a FT10 for whatever amount of money. I don’t think I’ve ever beat you before have I?
Joel? I've beat you several times if you are who I think you are. I know you use Cable, and I haven't been using Cable lately. You're the only higher profile Cable user in the GA scene that I know of (Ice Cable just don't impress me). So I really want to set up some sort of Cable/Cable mirror match. Or maybe my Scrubclops vs your Cablethrax. At least I think you use Cablethrax (Cable/Storm/Sent).

If you feel that MSP would be the only reason I would win, then feel free to just ban than team for me. All respect to you Branh, but even Joel doesn’t think MSP is my best team, and that’s usually what I pick against him when we’re like “Alright, let’s play for real, 2/3, 'cause I gotta go after this :lol:.” I just have the most fun with it, and I do think it’s one of my more-comfortable teams. Win-win, really. Of course, that’s totally up to you. I don’t want you to feel like you lost because of one team.
FT10, eh? 30 bucks for the longer set? And, I believe you have beat me. We’ve just NEVER money matched out of the MMs we’ve set up (not too many). Hopefully you’ll take that into account when you’re budgeting your money for the tournament :tup:.
Another note, yeah, Joel has one of the higher-profile Cables, but both Clint and Joe have nasty-ass Cables, and I’m pretty sure Max does as well when he picks Cable (I just haven’t seen Max pick Cable during tourney more than a handful of times, if at all). No one ever considers me at all, since I only ever play Cable against Joel :lol:. Cable-mirror-match me, if Joel denies your challenge 
I have no real problem picking Scrub vs your Scrubclops, but don’t you think FT10 will end up being a really drawn out set for only two teams? An alternative would be to split up those $30. We can do a FT7 for $20, then either a 3/5 or 4/7 Scrub vs Scrubclops for $10. Sound better?
Yeah 4/7 $10 sounds good to me. And FT7 sounds good as well. I’m going to run Simbofiend (Sim/Ironman/Sent) and SimClops (Sim/Cyclops/Sent). I had been practicing Matrix, but Sim is just too fun to play in Marvel these days. I’m more use to Mas sticks, so shouldn’t be a problem this time around.

Yeah, we are a TVC. It’s been added to the the list of games on Saturday.
Also, I’m very happy to announce that the Konsole Kingz from Atlanta will be coming and hosting a Madden 2009 and NBA2K9 tournament at the tournament on Saturday. They will bring their own equipment and staff to run the games and they will be doing interviews, coverage, and the like at the event.
Secondly, in case you guys don’t know, they have a channel on IGN.com and on XboxLive.com and they said they are willing to put all the footage from my event online at their channel. I doubt any of you will want to sign up for either game but they will be there and they will not be ran by myself. They will be ran exclusively by the Konsole Kingz’s staff.
How many people are you expecting to show up from this?
