I'm trying to remember this SNES game

I think it involved making airdrops of packages onto the ground. I can’t remember if you control the aircraft that drops the packages or the things on the ground that try to catch them. What I do remember is the box art: It showed this brass robotic head thingy speeding across the box. And I Think its body was red.

This is the most obsurdly vague description of a video game I’ve ever read.

But I love a challenge.

I may be wrong here, but I believe the game you are talking about is Super Dropzone

Does anyone know a game that has futuristic ninjas for SNES? I believe there was a female and a male, one that could slice and his weapon would release waves that could kill enemies.

Ninja Warriors? Three robot ninjas in a side scrolling beat’em up?

unfortunately, that’s not it, thanks though!

Super Mario World?

I found it! It’s called run saber:

I’m pretty sure OP was recruited by aliens to deliver their drugs for them.

And then he started doing them…

i’m looking for a really obscure fighting game for the snes, i recall the characters all having weapons of some sort. it was really violent like mortal kombat but before mortal kombat.

it was highly rated at the time but people rarely spoke about it.

This is my attempt to draw the box cover art as I remembered it. The brass head was tilted slightly upward, though. And the body was moving really fast, making it all blurred.

Wow, that looks like a shitty Rocketeer.

This Game? No…

Spoiler

Thanks for reminding me about this game.
lol @ youtube comments being disable due to all the dick jokes.

YES! The SNES version of the Rocketeer is the one I was thinking of! Thank you.

Makes sense that it would be a movie IP game that had some nonsense about airdropping packages. Oh NES games and your nonsensical plots.

Ah well. While i’m at it i recommend Ninja Warriors for the SNES to all. Its quintessential Arcade-style Beat’em up goodness by Taito! And with a rockin’ soundtrack to boot.

^^ Cool. That one came to mind as well, but i didn’t think to bring it up because it didn’t quite fit your early description.

Despite the awfully generic title, that one’s pretty cool. The unofficial sequel to Strider i think. Some of those stages near the end are weird though.

I once sat down and tried my darnest to beat it, but in one of the later stages you come up to a weird platforming spot or something. No matter what i tried i just couldn’t make it up there to progress onward…gahhh!

Edit: Oops. I was thinking of the Arcade game Osman:

^^ Which is also very much like Strider and Run Saber.

Seriously… it was Rocketeer?
Uhhhhh… glad I can help.

now that you mention it, the male character does have a costume resembling strider but yeah, I’m glad I found it, it was very fun playing through it again.

That Osman game looks amazing as well!

im looking for this game were you jump and press buttons

Ooh ooh ohh! I know. DUCK HUNT!

My god, thread turned out to be fucking hilarious  I remember the first day it was posted…no replies. Like planting a seed and waiting for it to go. I cannot believe Pozerwolf got rocketeer from that drawing. Fucking lold my ass off.
