I have a SE Fightstick and I’m trying to order a JLF-TP-8YT on modchipman but there are these extra options that I don’t know of.

Do I need these for my SE Fighstick?
Nope. Use the wire harness in your stick already. Shaft cover is optional.
no you dont need them, the shaft cover isnt needed and you will use the factory wire harness in the se.
Ok thanks guys, what does the shaft cover do though?
Covers the shaft and widens it by a 1mm or so. Comes with a matching dust washer to accommodate the new shaft width. Mostly for looks and also protects the shaft. Some people like the way a thicker shaft feels.
It kind of bothers me though since I cant tell if my ball is loose with the shaft cover on.
Does it affect performance in any way?
nope.
its one of those gate-shape things, it comes down strictly to preference.
it’s just for looks and protects from dirt/dust… i think it looks better with one but that’s just me.
