This rule got put to use a few times at the tourny this weekend. Also, I’m adding another rule, called the ‘The Grego’. If you accidentally switch characters at the start of the round, you do NOT get to start over.
How the hell is that Accidental?
He was holding down back trying to charge a move, and didnt realize that down also switched pre-match. Silly Grego.
Why the hell do 2008 players talk so much? Oh yeah… they cant win.
Wait. Is that directed at me?
I thought it was the Partner button that switched pre-match? Or do they both work?
shrug I’ve personally loved 2D fighters for longer than I’ve loved Smash. I just chose Smash over other fighters because there was (and barely is now) no fighter scene in my area other than a huge and healthy Smash scene. While Smash is still my main game, I play TvC on the side because I f’ing love the feel of the game.
Im wit da Panda. I almost only play 2d fighters, Smash being one of them.
I’m generally making TvC my main game because Brawl just isnt meeting my standards. Not gonna give up on it either though.
So by your logic, if you haven’t been on SRK for years but a new game comes out you must automatically suck at that game. Alright, will keep that in mind. Intelligence just sort of stems from you because you’ve been registered since '04. Senority means pretty much nothing when it comes to actual gameplay . I really do hope you feel good about registering all the way back in '04 though :wgrin:. Just incase you lose in tournament to someone who registered in '09 and '08 you can feel awesome at the end of the day simply knowing you’ve been on a forum for way longer than they have, even though they’re better than you in the game. :arazz:
Another thing is…a lot of us registered right when the game came out so we know just as much as the '04 guy. How weird is that?.. The things people say to make themselves feel superior nowadays…
