Basically, it gives her Doom TAC Glitches along with the infinite. It’s difficult, but so worth it

[S]As you can see in the video, 236M on incoming is incredibly limited. You can teleport up to them for a j. S mixup, but that’s about it. As soon as the opponent touches the ground the infinite ends, FC or not[/S]. Being in Mad Beast might lead to incredibly tricky setups, and since you’re immune to pushblock you might be able to keep them in the air long enough to get an opening…and if you retain the TAC with it, you get to kill the character, rebuild all that meter, and do it all over again.

The same one you would do normally, really. We’ve got like 712k from Somersault now, and that ought to kill or at least come close to killing most assists. Several DHC’s from MGS are also great at tacking on more damage if you really need it.

I just tried it out. It kills Wesker and brings Chris down to a magic pixel. Of course, you’re not going to get a clean catch every time where both victims are at an even level with each other, so you might have to do some improvisation on the spot. This has inspired me to prepare something for just such an occasion, actually. Time to get to work.
I’m just about ready to add the TAC thing to the list of tech, just quoting the nice people who came in and explained it so cleanly for us and using one of the conveniently provided videos for visual aid.

I’m just a little irritated that, after all that work, an infinite is what it took to get any attention at all. Is this going to cause the board to be flocked to by dumb-dumbs who ignore the stickies to make pointless threads looking to play this character only now that she’s capable of doing something like this?

It’s a vicious cycle Gangie. This would of happened if Jill won a major, got more coverage, etc.
Anyone having any luck doing the infinite with down TAC?? Im trying to land with L.DKD and start off that but I keep missing anyone have any other ideas?
Yeah I just came back but I can certainly sympathize. Personally I hate TACs; I picked up jill because as a character jill has so much to her, and so many mix-up options. In no way is she as braindead or easy as chacters like vergil that only to minimal effort to have some success with.

It’s impossible with down TAC because it uses the groundbounce you need on DKD . I’ve updated the tech section of the third original post to help make this easier for anyone asking.
So only up and side TAC would theoretically be viable? I’m not sure how you would convert off side TAC since it puts Jill on the opposite side, though.
It works mid-screen, nothing to worry about.
It’s a bit finicky, but you can eye it and do it.

Yeah, that’s actually an interesting idea but it just doesn’t work.
off the side tac if you do the jMMH faster you don’t cross them up and then the infinite will be away from the corner
so basically it’s looking like tac into infinite into death into level 3, call dante or vajra, mixup into ground bounce, mad beast kill combo. thats 2 characters. the timing for staying in feral state for the third character is surely too difficult, no? be in the air when mad beast wears off, DKD into feral, level 3 again before the comboed character or incoming chracter touches the ground?

I can’t wait to try it out with mad beast now. It will give her low blocking as well as mobility and the ability to keep going with the infinite.

Long time lurker and pocket Jill player here, an emotional roller coaster ride with this tech, on one hand Jill is turning out to be extremely broken and the best $5 I gambled with before she could break 700k. On the other hand I run Jill first and it took me a while to create that team and i really don’t want to change my team order, but since I usually MGS to escape and let Jill heal, I guess this is a great way to bring her back in for the win!
BTW… If infinite into mad beast works and maintains the infinite and you can continue meter build AND call assist, Jill is instantly GOD tier!
This won’t shoot her to god tier, it’s just really good IF you land the TAC.
With Jill/Frank/Strider, I just Get Frank to 4 then TAC as much as possible haha.
