I can definatly see similarities to myself in what you said there. I usually also like grapplers alot, which also do have a strong footsie/poking game. So I would say I am typically a grappler/heavy hitter player. This results in the following list of main and alt characters:

I tend to play low tire characters for some odd reason. I like playing characters who make me think and who need a plain to win. I also really like good normals, and I’m not too huge on projectiles except for Venom.

Well, I’ve lurked for years (lost track of my old account though); guess I should post at least once lol. I like the topic, as it (probably unintentionally) made me think and understand my own playstyle preferences, something I haven’t really looked at over the course of the last few years. Hopefully I don’t completely break the rules.
All in all, I am generally a defensive player, although I’m not afraid to try to play rushdown and go for 50/50’s if the opportunity is presented (not really good at gambling though so I usually lose those 50/50s, lol). I also tend to be overly defensive once I’m pressured. Knockdowns scare the -ish out of me.

I agree. Wasn’t a fan of BR4, personally, was always hoping for a new one that would bring some of the old cast back.
On topic, I realized the other day that my mentality when playing Tekken is extremely different than how I play in general. I’m always trying to rushdown in that game unless it’s down to the last hit, lol.
