3S: Makoto, mah gurl ^-^
ST: Sagat, Ken
Super 4: Cody, Guile, thinking about trying Rufus
MvC3: Deadpool/Sentinel/Skrull
Tekken: Ling
CvS2: Terry/Iori/Ryu, sometimes Rugal
VS: Morrigan
Basically I’m a “use my tools to play my best keep away game and try to land some combos until my A.D.D. kicks in and I get too impatient so I rush down at the worst moment and get my ass handed to me” style of player.
Im generally a balanced player with a mixture of projectiles, zoning, and close range combat.
Main Characters:
MvC3: Deadpool/Magneto/ (3rd character depends on who im fighting offline or who I feel like using)
TvC: Joe The Condor/Frank West
SSBM: Link
SSBB: Link or Snake
I play characters with powerful, flashy combos and a lot of resets/mixups. they are also usually capable of playing a zoning game. also, they’re usually villains.
SSF4: Ibuki, Rose
AE: Oni
MvC2: Strider/Sent/Doom
MvC3: Wesker/Akuma/Doom, Magneto/Wesker/Doom
MK9: Raiden
(soon) 3S: Urien
used to main Snake in SSBB and Arakune in BB:CT (for like the 2 weeks that I spent playing it).
I’m generally a ‘Strong’ type player. What I mean by strong type is that I tend to like characters that have stiff powerful strikes, usually single or very few hits. When I see a character bust out with palm strikes or shoulder charges I just love that shit. Another thing that draws me to characters other than style is their Voice; I’ve noticed a lot of the characters I play just have epic voices and I’m always repeating their quotes and battlecries to myself lol.
Cyberbots: JIn - Blodia
Garou: Gato
GGXXAC: Potemkin (Which is funny because I don’t ever pick grapplers)
SF(Series): Ryu, Eagle
SSF4: Ryu & Makoto (AE chars will probably join)
SC4: Darth Vader & Algol
MVC2: Ryu/Jin/Commando
T6: Lars, Feng, Jin
MVC3: Dormammu/Dante/Wesker
KOFXII: Kim, Kensou, Duo (Probably gonna add K’, Maxima, and maybe Takuma to this in 13)
Bloody Roar: Long, Shen Long, Xion, Bakuryu.
SF - if Sakura is in it, I usually play Sakura. CvS2 is the only exception, because I play K groove and i don’t like K-Sak. 3S, I play Hugo and Ken and ST I usually run Ryu or O. Ken
GG - Axl Low
AH - Heart
I play shitload of other games… HnK, JJBA, random poverty, and other shit, but, I don’t really play enough to bother writing down all my chars
generally, if I like a character from a series, I will play them in every installment they’re in, unless they are terribad, or they changed in ways I really don’t like.
I’m generally a low-execution player, mainly using characters with good normals and neutral game and relying more on mind games and shenanigans rather than difficult hit-confirms into tricky, complicated combos with almost-impossible exection…
…saying that, character design is a bit important too, which is why you’ll see the odd character who is more execution-heavy than others… XD And yes, they are (almost) invariably female… :S
Arcana Heart 3 - Fiona Mayfield
BlazBlue CT and CS1 - Litchi Fei-Ling
Guilty Gear XX AC+ - Anji
Melty Blood Actress Again - Shiki Ryougi
Guilty Gear XX Reload (casual) - Bridget

Marvel vs Capcom 3 (casual) - Chun-Li/Arthur/Hsien-Ko
Soul Calibur 1 to 4 - Xianghua
Tekken 6: BR - Leo
Tekken 5: DR - Lei Wulong
I spend a fair amount of time blocking, but I will move forward/attack when it is nessessary/reasonably safe. I pick characters with good/safe normals (as having good pokes is essential for OT’s), especially those who have normals that move them forward. Charge characters tend to fit this style best. Ex: Charlie in SFA3, Chun in ST.
The only exception is with vs. games, where i prefer rush-down characters.
I guess you could say the same for me. I’m a Bison player and tend to jump in or poke my way and then then get some shit in only to block for awhile until a get thrown or put some Scissor pressure. I don’t crouch tech either so my playstake is particularly dangerious/risky/stupid.
Other games or future games you can see in my sig.
