rage quit a lot until you fall back to 0 BP…you will fuck up your disconnect ratio…but hey you will get your BP back to 0.
Play more people. You’ll run across people that will stop your fraudulent strats.
you on ps3 op? I’ll play you to witness your fraudulent play at work =)
Ah, I don’t read the OPs, just the inbetweeners and the titles unless the OP is interesting lol.
i play pad… Hori FC3 pro only $33
typically when you reach this point, where you panic, and you’re beating the majority of players online, that’s the sign that it’s time to stop plaing online and move exclusively to an offline environment. However, in this case, this actually may be worse because if there’s no scene then your skills will diminish due to lack of playing. So my recommendation is to learn another team and save your main for endless rooms where there’s someone good. Once your alt team gets good enough to fall into the same category, learn another team and so on. i’m at this point myself where my alt team (Gief/Hugo) is arguably better than my main team (Vega/Gief). So i have to factor that in as well and get more playtime with my main team. For me i’m working on Abel/Gief, Abel/Hugo, Abel/Vega, then gonna try to work in Hei with Abel, Gief, Hugo, and Vega. That way i’m only learning 1 character at a time instead of a whole team.
Very good points… but I meant that’s actually my problem both online and offline. :razzy: I’m really bad at controlling my nerves and taking a moment to understand the situation if I’ not familiar with it. It’s calmed down over the years but it used to absolutely cripple me whenever I entered Tekken 5 tourneys a few years back.
I need to learn how to turn that nervous energy and that fear into something else. A little more patience wouldn’t hurt either.
That’s also why I started picking up a lot of characters too though, to learn more of what they want to do and get familar with them myself (and potentially find something new I hadn’t thought of). At this point, I feel like my better team is Law/Juri (order changes depending on matchup), and is also helping me improve my footsies. Learning some Poison and some Chunners has been helpful as well, and my next project once I’m done grinding in Training Mode and Endless with Law/Juri over the next few weeks is to start learning King again at a basic level.
Best advice I’ve seen in a long time.
drink 2 cups of coffee, take 2 5 hour energys and sip on a red bull while playing. that’ll get you used to playing on nerves… tip from KS Saki btw
…I’m fairly sure my heart would explode sometime in there.
I’ll prol’ly stop at “2 cups of coffee”. :-p
