So my tube TV died out on me and i’m stuck with my HD television. I’ve played DDR on my PS2 using the HD TV but i’ve noticed lag big time whenever I’m playing. The lag is less noticeable in IIDX but i do know its off.
Is there any type of converter that will help remedy this lag problem?
Short answer: No.
You should set the TV to “Game Mode” if it has one, but it’ll (probably) always have input lag.

also what styles do you have of IIDX, if it’s anything below 15 then you’re screwed
well if he has anything under iidx 12 happy sky then he wont be able to set the lag settings in the options menu.
that is when they first introduced the feature I believe. I may be wrong though.
true but 15 and 16 have the best timing settings (1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and so on) 13 and 14 only have 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and so on

kusanagi, unless you can get ahold of a hori upscan converter or another crt then just get iidx 16. 2nd disc has most of the best songs anyway.

Also, empress is the only style that has the decimal increments on timing (1.1, 1.2 etc) Happy sky, Distorted, Gold and DJ Troopers all have whole number adjustment increments, all prior styles to happy sky have no timing adjust.
