Well, some of us dig a little background. You know, WHY are they fighting, motives, emotions, etc etc. Just preference, really.
I just want better online. That would just make this game worthwhile, I barely play it as is. At least there’s competition here at CTF… 
Make a room, name it your region/state, and some good connections will come. It’s worked surprisingly well for me.

Yes. Mad laggy Brazilians try to join any room I create. I just CANNOT understand how people can play lag matches at all. Seems like some people online just don’t even know what lag is. They have a red connect to you and can’t wait to fight anyway. It’s just strange.
Seriously, SNK could of easily made it so in versus mode you can see how many wins you got. We resorted to marking them down on paper. WTF it’s in every fighting game since the 90’s!
Make sure you take out the infinites you guy’s added to the console version with the 1st patch you released snkplaymore!
Oh yea and PLEASE ADD A KICK BUTTON! I hate when someone with a red ping won’t leave the room!!! I need a kick button for online play in the lobby!
YES! I hate starting a room and a guy with red wont leave, so I have to quit and start the process all over, just for it to happen again.
I’d take better AI and more stages over any storyline. The storyline part of fighting games usually become irrelevant after a week. I still haven’t even bothered with Blazblue’s story mode yet.
I really doubt there will be a story mode. Even the guide book says that is falls along the lines of KOF 98UM , 2002UM where there is no story. The only DLC I see coming is characters and some stages…maybe a single player mode such as survival or something.
I think adding characters would trump adding stages by light-years… I don’t think we get much more mileage by having another stage to play on.
Honestly though, I don’t realistically think we’re going to get either. Any DLC will be some theme or other cheap shit they can throw up there for quick buck. Ignition literally had to force SNK to fix the online. They weren’t just going to do it because it was the “right” thing to do to give the fans their money’s worth.
If SNK didn’t even want to patch the game to just make it work on a basic level, I doubt they would do ANY more than that without being physically beaten into it with weapons… 
Adding a free patch doesnt make SNK money…DLC however does. Thats why we would see stages and characters. They even have a Marketplace section in the game for DLC . I think there thoughts on the patch were if they didnt make a patch then people would stop buying the game and the DLC we have planned would be worthless and wouldnt make us the money we wanted.
Just my thoughts. They give me 98 Iori…I will be freaking happy. Throw in 98 Terry as well :wgrin:

YEAH! Why even put marketplace if they weren’t planning on adding characters, like Mai, King, Shingo, Yuri, Billy Kane, K’, rugal…
