Since when did gaming sites actually know how to play and review a fighting game properly? Hell, they’ll give Alpha 3 9.0 just because it had a big cast, and they’ll read SRK to find the Pros and Cons of a fighting game.
i already looked through all them, the only other one is benign
random top 25 of whatever without any way to explain normally how they rate the characters.

The top 10 should be pretty easy to guess. Most of the original 8 will be in there plus Akuma and one random SFIII like Urien or something.
Its an entertaining read but not more then that.

Though I don’t see what’s the big deal here, I find the inclusion of terry, this “3rd impact” and makoto’s headband pretty funny.
Thats the beauty of the character. Don’t you see? Hes the “Bill Cosby” of Boxing. An acceptable version of the racial stereotype.
There is social acceptance and an underlying story in everything.

the description this article gave to Makoto illustrates exactly what the problem is with IGN doing a Top 25 street fighters list. It fails to focus on the right qualities to consider. WTF? Makoto is on the list because 3S used CPS3 and her belt’s always moving? not one mention on her mixup game, her dash, infinites etc.

Late to the party, man. On the same train of thought, though, their picture for day 3 should have someone even more random, like Galford or Sol. Increase the ridiculousness with each day.

If you happened to ask Dan himself, he’d tell you he belongs at number one on this list. The sole and single master of Saikyo-ryu ? the “strongest style” ? holds an unshakable belief in his own incredible greatness, which is probably the big goof’s greatest feat when you think about it.
The inside joke is on him, of course. Dan was intentionally conceived as a half-assed, wimpy, bumbling joke of a character, a rib on Capcom’s rival fighting developers at SNK.
He was designed to poke fun at Art of Fighting hero Ryo Sakazaki, who looked a little bit too much like Street Fighter’s Ryu for the resemblance to be simple coincidence. Instead of suing for trademark infringement or choosing some other humorless avenue of retribution, Capcom just decided to have some fun at SNK’s expense.
Ever since he first showed up in Street Fighter Alpha, though, Dan’s built up a cult following among Capcom fans. It’s always fun to root for the underdog, after all ? especially an underdog in a shocking pink gi ? and some hardcore players get a kick out of beating down opponents with the weakest character in the game.
