I can agree with a lot of whats on the list but why no love for Swat Katz, honestly Id rather watch that then any of the other hanna/barbera stuff that was on that list.
I’ve noticed a lot of the “Cartoon Cartoon” shows from Cartoon Network in mid-to-late nineties aren’t ranked high at all. Everything that came out of that era was great.

Normally I’d agree with you and because it was a high school drama I’d have stayed far, far away, from it, but it was great if only because it was the opposite of every high school drama ever. Unlike most girl leads, Daria’s an outsider who just doesn’t care that she’s an outsider. It’s the late 90s and she still walking around in grunge gear and art house glasses. Someone tells her she’s not pretty, she just tells them their vapid, and, like some divine karma, her individuality wins out in the end and the other girls end up with botched nose jobs or something. But the show would have been pretty cruddy if it just ended there, and Daria’s attitude sometimes backfires in pretty realistic ways. She’s antisocial, only really has one friend, is self-conscious, and pretty much fails to come out of her bubble any time she tries. She’s pretty likable despite being so morose, but became less one-dimensional as the show went on, which was good or bad depending on how much you liked her as a straight-up prick.
But really, most episodes just bank on humor instead of morals. It’s pretty funny and her town is populated mostly by idiots, students and teachers alike. Not my favorite show, but pretty darn good.
Eva > Bebop? WTF

Okay, I can see that. About eighteen months ago, I would have told you that she’s just a stupid poser nonconformist, but I met someone who was an outsider simply because she doesn’t give enough of a fuck about social standards to be an insider, and it sort of opened my eyes.

4). People argue with each other at the appeal of insert/game/movie/animation/whatever.
5). People unpredictably declare the list is bullshit.
6). Thread goes for more than 5 pages with the previous 4 steps ad nauseum.
In the end, nobody’s ever satisfied because it’s not their opinion. Makes me wonder the point in sites like IGN doing stuff like this when they know it won’t work.
At least the lists from an obscure and not-so generic topics fare better; such as the top 10 edited movies posted a while back or the top 10 badass soldiers.
