In my country we prefer stronger joysticks 'cause noobs can break it

Edit: Come to think of it, everyone I know who has ever gotten an X-arcade gutted the entire thing and just kept the case to put in new buttons/stick/pcb.

Who here still sells custom Happ sticks?
I have a general question about the value of some of these custom sticks, but Im a total noob sans the privviledge to create my own threads.
So I apologize if this isnt the appropriate place for this question, but here goes.
I have a modded xbox, 200 gig hd, mod chip, and IR mod for powering the system on and off via the xbox remote, and a nice wireless controller.
I also have a modded ps2 with 120 gig HDD, and a psp slim with 16 gig stick and m33 firmware.
Id like to trade all or some of this for a nice stick for my mame setup on the pc. I do like having all these systems, as they pretty much cover all games made before the current gen besides gamecube games. But I never play them, all I play these days are fighters.
Now granted these are old systems, but they have a lot of work put into them, and they are capable well beyond their original intent. Is it unreasonable of me to assume these modded systems are worth as much as a custom stick with sanwa parts?

Stick Builders wonât go around searching for Customers.
But donât go asking multiple guys at one time, then wait until one gets to you with your needs.
That would just waste the other guysâ time.
There was a guy earlier in the year who asked many Builders at the same time for a Custom.
Hoping to get a response from one of them.
Then when he did get a reply, he had to blow the other guys off; wasting their time.
And so now no one would sell to him.

I guess part of this is doing your homework. If you browse around on the forum, you will see enough stick builders with different styles, shapes and types of cases/shells/finishing. Pick the one you like the best, donât insult their skills/intelligence by going for a unreasonable price, and only do this when youâre 100% confident that that specific builder can do the type of case/stick youâre expecting.
