If you use a 6 button fightstick how do u use ex

For example i use a playstation controller with 8 buttons so lets use ken for example i use r1 for normal flame shoryu and use L1 for EX flame shoru r2 for fierce tatsu L1 for EX tatsu how does that work for people who use 6 button fightsticks

Controllers like dualshock and xbox stick has 10 buttons, arcade sticks has 6 or 8.
It’s mostly the same process, can use 2 buttons for ex on controller two and shortcuts can be added the same way as well.

So much easier to hit 2 or 3 buttons at the same time on a stick though.
