How do you get 30x sneak attack? I can only get 2x. I’m level 16, maybe I just haven’t found the right weapons I guess.
You need the perks in sneak that get you 15x then you need an item that doubles that, so you get 30x that way.
Edit: Well, fuck. With the help Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) they already added category sorting to containers… this community is fast.

Totally worth it, especially with how broken sword main hand dagger off hand is.

itd be more broken if the increase to onehanded damage mods worked properly.
what are the levels to unlock the different armors and wepons ?
If you go smithing route, then pretty early but your combat skills fall behind, if you just want to buy stuff off NPCs, no idea. My guess is you start seeing glass and ebony stuff at 25ish from vendors and chests. I haven’t seen any Daedric stuff yet and I am 47, then again I haven’t been looking.

Yeah Im pretty sure Glass starts appearing at 25. Just grabbed my first sword last night as I hit 25, if I customise it it will be better than my current best weapon.
Reading a lot of the posts in here, its nice to see the sheer amount of things that I ‘could’ be doing. I usually go through a few different playstyles when going through TES games. Ive been straight laced so far, just completing a few quests, mainly companions, mages and side quests. Solely sword and shield business. Will probably try some smithing and enchanting soon, have been giving that a miss so far.
oh yeah, i forgot you can’t take on more than 1 guy at a time until you have decent stats. Fucking stamina. I love swinging my sword and doing zero damage, and having to drink stamina potions until my anus bleeds green. Then knock back some health potions because the enemy sure as fuck does huge damage to me
killed a dragon though. And I love how another dragon swooped in during the middle of a quest i was on and annihilated all the mercenaries.
I also love when you go through a dungeon, and find dead bodies right next to traps. Lulz
how do you guys level fast ?
- make sure you have the proper stone turned on (warrior, mage, thief) depending on what you’re trying to level
- try to level things relating to them (ie use the Thief stone, then just pickpocket and lockpick EVERYTHING, while sneaking around)
- alchemy, and smithing
I would avoid using the warrior mage or thief stones to be honest unless you want to power level crafting for cheaper. I found that you level too fast as it is with them on. I think lover makes all your skills go up a bit faster, but I’d go for Atronach or Lord stones. They’re just too good to pass up IMO.
i might make a new char so, this game pisses me of that there is so much to do but i always do things wrong.
There is no wrong way to play an elder scrolls game. Just about everything is effective if played right, even if some things are clearly stronger than others.
Edit: To go even further, doing whatever you want is fine too even if the game doesn’t recognize it. Go be a baker and sell your goods or something, still valid.
what do i need to level is i want my level of items i can carry to increase, max i can carry is 300. on oblivion i enchanted my armor to give me more endurance so i could carry more, would that work on skyrim ?
Yes, you need to find an item that gives fortify carry weight on it and disenchant it. This lets you enchant it on your own gear. How good the enchant is depends on how good your enchanting is as well as the soul gem used (grand and black soul gels giving the best enchants) and the perks, if the item has like 30 or 40 carry weight on it I would keep it until you can do better enchants than that. Increasing your stamina also increases your carry weight by 5.
There are also Fortify Carry Weight potions, I think they are have the “of Strength” name. There is no more feather spell.
You can also increase your carry capacity with a Pickpocket perk. It increases your carry capacity by 100.
