Some people (including myself) don’t have an awesome computer to run Skyrim. Though if you can run it the PC is the far better choice the modding community I know are about to jump on mods for the game almost instantly and they’ll be thousands. Though If I remember the PC version of the game is less stable, at least for Oblivion it was. Even if I could I wouldn’t get it for the PC if I could barely run it. Oblivion in low graphics is horrendous, and Skyrim just looks too beautiful to miss out on. I’m usually not a graphics whore but Skyrim just looks so majestic
Bestheda is really one of my favorite video game companies (Along with Rockstar, Nintendo, Bioware, Blizzard Entertainment and Cash- AHEM I mean Capcom), they really work their ass off along
You need to if you did not already preorder the soundtrack before November 23rd from directsong.com and it will come autographed by the man himself Jeremy Soule. I ordered this morning
yeah i custom built a gaming PC, so running it isn’t a problem. Like i said, my main worry is how it runs, and IF it runs. I DO wanna pick it up for 360, mainly so I can at least lend it to friends or trade it in, should I ever choose to.
laptops have pretty weak processors generally, you’d have to have a pretty beefy one for skyrim i bet. They release any deets on that yet?
even so, I think there is still totally viable experience to be had on the console version. You’re not getting a gimped version of it with zones removed or something. Plenty of people will still have a great time layin on the couch zoning out for hours, smokin cigaweed or w/e, quit hating.
I’m really hyped. I’ll be using bows and daggers mostly. I like quests and all, but sometimes what’s really fun is just to let your imagination take over and rp a bit. Like wake your character up at 6am and just go hunting. Go out in the woods outside of your village and hunt for a few hours, let yourself really get into it, it’s killer. The elderscroll series have lots of ‘play’ in them in that sense, you can have fun without looking to the devs all the time “what should I be doing, please guide me, force me to find cyrstals pls”.
I wish they came out with a DLC that added random unkillable but attacking Dragons in Oblivion to get us even more hyped for this game. Werewolves are confirmed to be in this, yes!
Stock up on provisions, assemble a tent in your living room, and tell your family/girlfriend you’re going to Skyrim for a business trip with no clear return date.
If they question you where Skyrim is, just reply “dragons”.
