I’ve been thinking of doing a team of Spencer/Wright/Taskmaster. Spencer’s un-scaled up grapple is very tempting and I know that with Wright’s Missile assist, Spencer can kill off most of the cast. The only concern I have is getting in an opening people up with Spencer. I know I can call Task arrows and grapple in from above. I guess I could treat the grapple as something like an air dash?

Yeah air grapple with Taskmaster arrows is a good way to get in as for getting hits, you could probably do something like :d::l:->into his :f::h: overhead doing overhead mixups help, you could try setting up unblockables with the dog though you sacrifice an extended combo for it, you can also bait the opponents with your blocked overheads with his armor piercer :qcf::s:. Add in a command grab mixup also helps

Need some advice for a team, ive been trying out she hulk, wright, doom. With torpedo, assist, amd missles assist. But what assist for wright? Also I’m thinking of using plamsa beam but i love missles. Also what are some ways to get into objection with she hulk. I know after her emerald cannon, after the second hit, u can hard tag wright call maya with missles safely. I’m thinking of using spencer over doom but won’t have a beam assist.

She hulk has a lot of problems of her own therefore I think it’s best not to include those two in the team. I don’t like PTW much because of the position he comes out and the range of it makes it a mediocre lockdown assist till turnabout mode maybe I underestimate the assist. With Doom I think plasma beam would be the best if you plan on sticking with this team.
You could probably do the clothesline stun then hardtag into Wright, standing :h: twice into objection I don’t think it works in the corner.

Koff I saw a really cool video using Spencer’s grapple assist for setups mid-combo to get evidence/land an objection. I’m try and dig it up right now. Also the team sounds legit. Your gameplan is strong, and Spencer/Taskmaster is a good duo to make it happen. Task’s arrows assist don’t do anything special for PW but it’s a great assist nonetheless and will still help him out.

lin, imo don’t worry too much about a PW assist. Whatever Doom assist you use will do a much better job for neutral game until you get to Turnabout mode when Paperwork/BTW will do good damage/chip. I’d probably use Missile just because it hits low and I’m imagining it can be used in combos, but I’d say go to training mode and see which assists can help SHulk’s and Doom’s combos. As for going into Objection with SHulk, this is just theory fighting but I’d imagine if you can get a standing Clothesline on an opponent (I think that’s the move that dizzies) you can then hard tag into PW (make sure it doesn’t hit) and then go into the Objection. You can probably use that time to get evidence if you don’t have enough yet too.

Well, I know it’s possible because I’ve managed to get that Maya plink thing to work occasionally. I guess I just haven’t found the right rhythm or whatever to do it consistently. If PW players were to get that down, gathering evidence would be much quicker.

IMO the team order works well either way, but for Dante/Wright/Strider be sure to get a kill then DHC into Wright for evidence. I think this order is also a bit riskier because if Dante dies right away you’re stuck with Wright/Stider, but you can still do well with those two. I suggest trying out the different orders and seeing which one feels better for you, because either way you got a good team.

Log trap and shopping cart will probably both be helpful, but I’m not so sure about running Phoenix Wright and Frank West on the same team. Both of them are sort of gamble characters, and running two gamble characters is way more risky than just one gamble character.

so far i have Wright(Missle), and Hulk(Anti-air gamma charge)

im thinking of a solid beam assist, but maybe there’s a better assist for protecting wright while being a solid anchor to boot.

any ideas?

Will for anchor you could do Doom(I know overused) but hidden missiles or beam depending on who you are facing and they both help wright and hulk maybe Magneto for disruptor not good with naming anchor chars

How the hell do you get Wright to turnabout, level up Frank without a team built around him AND get 5 bars at the same time? Are you a wizard?

Being able to be fine with just one GTFO assist, Team aerial combos, freaking break the witness assist/paperwork storm/missile (eh) and easily getting two or more meters from pretty much every combo that involves Wright and Frank THEN eventually, having near 5 or 5 meters for Phoenix?

I would say go with Magneto as an anchor like clonedpickle said his disruptor beam is a good projectile, it’ll help Hulk with his approach, and helps Wright by pushing back the opponent a bit and with zoners and he’s a good anchor also.
