Okay so i really want to have a Phoenix Wright team. i love the games and the characters.

i’ve been really getting into playing Iron fist as well so i’d like to have him in the team as well

and out of curiousity what are your thoughts of having PW second? and using something like Iron Fists crumple to get him in to gather evidence?

I remember using Iron Fist, here are my opinions Rising Fang (I have not experimented with his Dragon Touch) would be his best assist since it comes out fast and wall bounces, however keep in mind that Iron Fist still can be hit so take care when calling it out at times. Wright should use Press the Witness for a lock down assist or Get’em Missile if your third is going to do the lock down instead.

Having Iron Fist crumple with :qcf::m: can work well since it’s possible to raw tag Wright and collect two evidence (I think three is possible) or to combo into objection.

Wright on second
If you prefer to DHC into Maya and allow Wright to do some evidence collecting, having Wright on second is a good strategy since he has trouble against rushdown a common tactic is have the point character kill the opponent’s character then DHC into Wright the game will wait till Maya’s hyper is nearly finished before the opponent’s next character comes out giving you time to collect 5 evidences.

I sometimes play PW/Iron Fist (Dragon Touch)/Iron Man (Unibeam) cause this would give you this great Investigation bnb:

INVESTIGATION :m:, :h:, :f::h:~Iron Fist assist, 3 pieces of evidence, :d::d::s:, TRIAL :d::l:, :m:+Iron Man assist, :h:, :f::h: TURNABOUT! (if the evidences were correct)

The timing for the 3 pieces of evidence into stance change into c.L is pretty strict, but not impractical. You can also pick any placeholding assist like Chun Li’s lightning kicks or Dorm’s Dark Hole. If the evidences weren’t correct, you can follow-up with this:

STILL IN TRIAL … :s:, j:m:, j:m:, j:h:, j:d::h: DIZZY land, :s:, j:m:, j:m:, j:h:, j:h:, j:s:, Order In The Court

This will generate 1.1 bars minus the super and will discard all bas evidence collected. Only problem with this combo is that you need to get in with PW without using any assist and that’s quite difficult.

But that’s very situational, I’d recommend using Rising Fang since it’ll cover the area above PW’s head where he is most vulnerable IMO.

but thing with that team i wonder about though is it doesn’t seem like i have anything for teleporters. and i still have the problem of not having good anti air for iron fist.

i really want to make this team work since it would have my 2 favorite characters. although i’ll try it or some combo of it. that combo could be ALOT of help.

Wright (PTW/Paperwork)
Chris (Landmine)
Morrigan (DH)

Basically, I gather evidence and all. Chris’ landmine is placed behind or front or inside Maya’s shield. I put it in Maya’s shield most of the time against characters that can easily destroy it without being hit like Vergil. After that, I try to combo or land objection or just DHC (Half the time, landing the objection comes from hitting an assist LOL).

Once I enter turnabout mode, it’s either I swap out to Morrigan or Chris or combo with the 1.01 mil. damaging objection loop combo then swap out to either of the 2 or just leave Wright on point. Basically with Chris, it’s practically almost 150k chip each pushed block BTW/PWS + Flamethrower to land mine or an early cancelled flame thrower to gun fire M if Wright’s chipping from behind while Chris chips from the front. I use BTW as a GTFO assist. I’m pretty aware that it’s unsafe on block and that’s why I use the machine gun during the assist to make it safe. I use PWS as an anti air but I don’t find myselft using this assist a lot because flamethrower + Land mine is practically acts like a wall.

With Morrigan, she doesn’t need Wright’s assist that much. I think she’s fine on her own. I need her in the team because my team can’t just be revolving around Wright. There has to be at least one guy who can stand up for himself. (Morrigan is a she but you get the point). I only remember having **one **combo with the BTW assist

i run Frank(Cart)/Phoenix Wright(Paper)/Chris(Steroid Punch)
the steroid punch allows frank to a easy level 4 then dhc to Phoenix kills tha opponent gather evidence… Turnabout !
also chris assist allows phoenix to gather 4 i mean 4! evidence.

How does it make u easy level four with frank?

that if i get a basic 25 hit combo whit frank took a snapshot+chris assit which has hard knockdown properties allows to take a second picture and do damage cancellin into survival techniques 720 dmg

Combination punch assist is unsafe on block. It’s better to use the Shopping cart assist to assist Wright.

Oh and I think you might need an anti air assist like Doom’s missile or Dante’s am session. For me, I use Chris’ mine as a GTFO and an anti air assist. It’s really good in my opinion (Especially against those nasty teleporters).

you can use thor’s mighty tornado (?) super then dhc into wright and collect some evidence. the float from mighty tornado gives wright enough time to get three pieces of evidence.

Has anyone tried to DHC Frank’s survival techniques hyper (The launching part) to Maya then gather evidence? Or Jill’s raven spike (Not that I bought the DLC yet so I can’t try it :U)?

**Edit : **Cool stuff with Wright and Chris. Wright’s order in the court hyper in the corner can actually let Chris’ grenade hyper fully hit (All 4 grenades will hit the enemy). You just need to DHC to the grenade hyper once Wright is below the enemy. Also, I made a combo out of it :slight_smile:

Burns 3 meters but I honestly do not care because my team literally builds 1/2 or even 2/3 of a meter in 5 or 10 seconds. Posting this combo in the combo thread.

Well, I pretty much said everything in my post regarding my team. It shows the great synergy with Chris and Wright

That’s a nice find, i was thinking of using ammy and her slow hyper than switching to wright and look for evidence and bring out maya, also the team hyper for wright and ammy is good gives wright mobility for mix ups, and u can use maya otg to combo into it works in corner not sure mid plus lands an objection

May sound dumb, especially since I main Chris since vanilla, but can you explain me how does Land Mine works as an anti-air? Currently I use PW(Paperwork)/Chris(Gun Fire)/Dante(Jam Session). In my team, obviously Dante is the anti-air, but I’m curious as to this Grenade stuff.

I think he means it works as an AA because the opponent can jump and then land on it.

So, here’s my team:

Sent-A (Drones)
PW-Y (Missile)
Trish-Y (Low Voltage)

I have a lot of stuff I can say about this team, but I don’t feel like posting all of it right now. For now, I’ll just say a few key things:

[]Blocked HSF to SSMS is great for getting PW in to fish for evidence, even if SSMS doesn’t hit; I learned from cheesing the CPU in H&H that HSF persists from the first frame. PW can get about two free evidences this way.

]Trish Volt assist is actually really good for controlling the ground. The slight delay and high vertical area it covers tends to catch anyone who normal jumps forward and keeps them away from you.
[]Sent can easily blow people up by himself. And with the “hidden Missile” (PW Y assist), he can set up unblockables or at least 50/50s.

]I tend to change the order of this team on the VS screen depending on the team I’m facing. If I don’t feel threatened by the other team, I’ll change it to PW/Sent/Trish to get him in early. If I feel like it’s a bad matchup for Sent, I’ll change it to Trish/PW/Sent.
[*]Fun Fact: All three characters have persistent Hypers (HSF, SSMS, Round Harvest). With three meters, you can throw a lot of stuff on the screen.

Oh, and Sent Drones is great for PW, but that’s obvious at this point. Plus that fact applies to basically every other character >_>;

I hear you. Chris is also my best character alongside Dante, so I feel very comfortable with those two in my PW team.
