Post these various statements from Capcom Japan (2008-present) confirming that Shadoloo and Abel have no ties to the SecretSociety/Illuminati.
It really doesn’t matter if its called The Secret Society, The Illuminati, or just ambiguously “a secret society” with no official name. We’ve all seen enough sources that use all of those terms to describe Gill’s organization, so its nothing to correct me about.
I have to see proof, otherwise I just can’t put value in your claim.
The same goes for the Illuminati/Secret Society thing. I’ve seen both names used to describe Gill’s organization & wouldn’t claim anybody as wrong for using either.
Street Fighter 5 should take place after 3rd Strike, have everything 3S & SSF4 had. Gill, Dan, Juri, Urien, Necro, Remy, Alex, C. Viper, & most importantly, Chun & Makoto. Make combat like 3s, & have taunts do something. Also,

I never liked the parry mechanic, while it certainly gave the SF3 series a unique feel and made it stand out much more than SF4 from the legendary SF2…it pretty much eliminates zoning does it not? Projectiles are virtually useless.
SF5 should have a completely different game mechanic/system in place…it should not seem like a continuation of SF3,SF2, or SF4.
It’s in streetfighter.wikia.com as well as in the video games section of TVTropes “Cain and Abel” article. I know that it could be edited, but the guys in TVTropes are quite strict in giving examples. They also mentioned that it is “Word of God” which means that the statement may came from Ono himself or one of Seth’s character designers. The reason why they didn’t went on with it because of another fighting game which has the same name. I think they’re talking about Billy Kane or Kain Heinlein.
I think the idea of having Seth be named Cain is innovative. They could’ve done the story like in Urien’s 3S ending, with Abel having similar movesets to Seth, And eventually destroying his organization. It could’ve been like the Bible story with Seth trying to kill Abel, and Abel is like Seth’s brother. But then Seth would be more like Gill, bullshit and not tourney legal.
The present setup is meaningful as well: Seth as multiple prime fields took the place of Abel almost entirely, in addition to being a type of third offspring after Cammy and Abel.
If SF5 were to happen post-3S with Shadaloo back at reasonably full force, we could possibly see what becomes of the bandaged boy Bison rescued.
I absolutely feel they have to make some tough choices are remove a large chunk of the roster. No more palette swap bullshit-- there’s no room for Ryu, Evil Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Sakura, Dan, Oni and Gouken. There needs to be less characters all with unique playstyles.
The choices may not have to be very tough to make: 3 names didn’t have much business to be in the SF4 series in the first place, and 2 others never showed up in any SF3 rosters.
That’s nowadays Capcom: screwing up just so they can screw up even more, to the point no-one can tell the difference. We’re sort of like in the nineties, but instead of having tons of crap games, to the point people not anymore knew which were good an which sucked - and the vast majority of them sucked - we have games with so much wacky shit in them, people not anymore know what a fighting game is about.
Good call. I’d like them to do some crazy shit, like put in Remy or Charlie instead of Guile, and Hugo instead of Zangief or T Hawk. Bring back great unique 3S and A3 characters. No more Juni/Juli Yun/Yang nonsense. Above all else avoid being like TTT2 with 60 characters which ridiculous.
