Im not upset at all. Just think its funny that ultras are being complained about. Theres nothing wrong with them. If things like that are so bad, i bet if it was like og SF2 with NO SUPERS or anything, just special moves and normals, everyone would complain

I think sf2ce is where they got it right. They didnt need to update it anymore. All they need to do for sf5 is have kens son as the main character

Actually what do you guys think of a SF5 with a Ryu but no Ken like MvC1? Let’s be honest, what’s the relevance of Ken in the series anymore? Ryu is the basic begineer character that’s solid but lacks cheap stuff, Akuma sacrifices some of that solidity for some cheap tools and versatility, Ken has been a flashier but inferior Ryu for a long time already and IMHO that’s not much reason for a Ken in a SF game anymore except for satisfying scrubs with that flaming shoryuken.

Because you never know when Ken will end up being the better character, i.e. 3rd Strike.

Ken has ALWAYS been stronger than Ryu. He is the only person other than Akuma who can actually defeat him if he wanted to. Watch the sf2 anime
You mean that non canon anime where Ryu didn’t even fight back because he didn’t want to hurt Ken and could’ve wrecked his shit at any time he wanted? Why not site a canon source, like SF3S where Ryu outright states that he has the bigger win record? And if you go back to non canon stuff, Ryu Final, towards the end, has Ryu and Ken re matching (after Ken beat him easily at the beginning). You know how long it took Ryu to beat Ken? ONE PANEL.
Meh, I dont see the point of a Ryu with no Ken in SF. Marvel yeah, but thats a diff series. In my game Sakura and Ken’s son would be like Ryu and Ken, but with even more differences.
I just don’t want the top tiers in SFV to have their gameplay centered around a single predominant strat, eg. hit-confirm into super, knockdown into loopable oki, 90s of lame etc. I want varied characters with varied playstyles and strategies.
Agreed… don’t want everyone to be picking vortex characters and have vortex boners whilst doing their epic pr0 1337 vortex then cry when it doesn’t work cos everyone figured it out…
hmm, I honestly in my opinion believe that SF4 is the best ever made and caters to all sorts of playstyles, I believe capcom will wait a loooooooooooooooong time before they even decided to start SF5 (maybe 20 years)
I would love updates to SF4 like xtra character in one or two years (Alex, Urien will be great)
Hmmm, I’d say yes its a brilliant game, very balanced, yet still you’ll see the same characters win tournaments and the same characters online/at tourneys (only a few unique) and I’d hope and I’m sure everybody else would hope they release it before 2019…

People seriously complaining about vortex and stronger characters being played in tournaments more? Coming into this thread was probably a mistake on my part.
