Last year on the 9th and 10th of May 2009 in Rennes, FRANCE, CVS 2 top fighters from all over the world entered the ICHIGEKI ?09 tournament to determine who is the world champion !

This exceptional event featured America?s number 1 CVS 2 Fighter John CHOI along with his compatriots but lethal rivals Justin Wong and Buktooth, the Japanese living legend, D44 BAS, screaming for vengeance against John Choi who beat him twice at Evo 2008, the Korean Champion Laugh, and the best European fighters such as the French top players Yamazaki 93, Evil et ADM, the Greek Champion Snake, the Austrian Champion Ultima, the German Champion Tsunami, the Swiss Champion V-Ryu, the Dutch Champion Zenfire, etc…

This tournement will be the first and certainly not last stepping (tomb?)stone that AH2R will bring to the building of the Capcom virtual martial arts temple aiming at creating an official virtual martial arts federation in partnership with game centers from all over the world and an another official world championship in 2011 to celebrate the ten year anniversary of CVS2 with a cash prize of many thousands of dollars…
