Cheers all, I had a customer contact me recently about doing a “lefty” Panzer Fight Stick with a Hitbox layout for him. Basically, a Hitbox with the layout mirrored so that the action buttons were left handed and the directions were right handed. With enough interest (5 or more) I can do them for $99.95 instead of $160+ for the one person who wants it. Color options would be the same as any other Panzer Fight Stick and the size would be the same as well. This would be a case only.
I spoke with Shawn over at Hitbox regarding some other items and it seems that this is a request they receive every once in a while and he was willing to send folks looking for the custom layouts over my way since they don’t do the custom work like I do. I thought it may be something more than one or two folks want, so I figured I’d offer it up to everyone to get it rolling.
Please note, if you want an authentic HitBox hit those guys up and support them directly! Like me, they are a small company. I have one of their sticks and its a nice piece of tech.
That was my friend I sent your way. He had emailed Hitbox about it and never got a response so I figured you’d be able to help him out. Hopefully other people are interested so they’re able to get what they need.
Hopefully! I think a lefty version would be killer. I know HITBOX is probably slammed with EVO (its in their backyard) and it can be hard with the unique ideas/needs that pop up. Hopefully we can make this work!

adding hinges or something for the front and back would be slick so you could just fold it over and reverse it. or maybe changing the disgn so the u shape is on the bottom and the top panel i just flat so it can be screwed down from the top and just flip the top panel around to make it reversible… just thoughts.
Keyboard warrior reporting in here! Can we drum up some interest for a reverse Hitbox? I simply can’t get used to using a regular Hitbox since I’ve been using my right hand for directional inputs on a keyboard forever, but I love the Hitbox layout. A lefty Hitbox would be awesome, but as it stands right now I can’t afford the additional cost associated with a one-off custom case.

Every month or so I get a customer that wants one of these, just never been able to get enough people at one time to be ready for it.
That’s really tempting. I have a prototype lefty Hitbox, but there’s not going to be nearly enough space for Next Gen support (It’s the bitty Gen 1), so I’m going to need a new case if I don’t want to gut it… Not that there’s a PS4 solution anywhere out there.
It’d be about 150 bones to ship one to Canada, eh?
