Just thought Iâd post some followups to her c.s.hk (2 hit launcher)
First, some good ways to land this launcher-
Jump in lp, hp chain, straight into the hk launcher
Works very well, and even if they block, you can super jump cancell out and away.
Knock them down, and dash back and forth around them, confuse them, then c.hk, s.hklaunch (3 hits)
If someone jumps over you trying to cross you up, wait untill you see Ibuki flip around, and then hit hk, youâll usually launch them for free
Now, after you launch, you have quite a few options
My favorite (and is very stylish) I to super jump cancel straight up and hp, mk chain them.
You can also do a back+mp, hp, mk Kazakiri chain (which looks cool as hell)
do a hk Kazakiri. easy, simple
walk foward a smidge, do another close standing roundhouse for two more hits (canât juggle after this unfortunantelly)
Standing Close HP, 2 hits, looks decent
Standing HK, super jump cancel to chase (when you really wanna keep the pressure on)
standing mk into the command dash with a hk will cross them up
can also do that off of the back+mp, hp chain
do a delayed back+mp, hp chain, into a Tsuiji Goe (lp version) then throw a light kunai at the peak of the jump (before you switch sides) and then cancel into super #1 on the other side (this does work as an unblockable, very hard to do tho)
super-jump cancel straight up and do a lp, or mp version of super #1. Donât cancel this out of a kunai because the kunai will hit, and put them into an un-juggable state, and the rest of the kunais will miss
Now, should your launcher happen to dizzy them, we have SO much mroe that we can do, 'specially if near a corner
If near a corner, do s.mp, s.mp, then jump, and do a lp, hp chain
All will hit, this is the best you can do with a dizzied launch in the corner
Just thought Iâd share
Hereâs the follow-up series that I use (aka the WTF set)
Launch, juggle with b+Strong -> Fierce (Time it LATE to bounce their body up, or theyâll hit the ground flat on their face. Hard to explain without showing you.).
Cancel the Fierce part into a Forward or Roundhouse command-dash (Kasumi Gake, QCF+K) .
Here are your following options:
-Roundhouse launch (resets the series)
-C.Roundhouse -> Roundhouse launch (also resets the series)
-throw
-Raida (counter parry/throw attempts)
!normal-dash UNDER their body, and then do Raida (Probably the most effective.)
Fierce into taunt is dope.
When doing the guard crush, should the cross over dagger hit after the super does?

This is an Ibuki thread, not Family Fun.
I talked with Mad CB Tree over PMs (prolly the first time I really did anything over PM, I usually ignore them) about the choice between juggling a launch with her Forward kick (knee) or the b+Strong-Fierce chain.
the b+Strong-Fierce chain gives you a bit more time to mess around with them.

Yes I agree the b+mp, hp is better than mk. I also just like to sj and do fierce, f+mk.

when playing ppl, use the dash in hcf+k, sj straight up, SA1
i saw it in a trny video, its really useful in mindgames

(Iâm going to toss a tactical tidbit in here to counterbalance the suffocating level of fanboySUCK.)
Ibuki has a counter against multi-hit fireballs. Parry the first hit of any multihit fireball except for, say, Akumaâs Messatsu Gou Hadou (SA 1) and then df+Forward slide kick under the rest. Fear no Denjin.
So this counter could also apply to Ryuâs shinkuu right?
