I usually try to stick to cr. for crouch and cl. for close standing, and I guess far. for far standing? I dunno I think we need some kind of notation standard here.
There is no difference between a far or a close crouch attack, so “far” should concern stand attack only.
Personnaly, in order to be clear, I usually write with 2 letters, it’s more easy (cr = crouch, st for stand blablabla…).
Which is better for juggles after bMP? Raida, Kazegiri or some other option? Or is it different depending on the situation?
Preference imo. Raida does less damage, and throws your opponent across the screen, but you can always just dash over to them, or maybe raida will throw your opponent into the corner, plus you get an untechable knockdown. Kazegiri does more damage, and your opponent isn’t thrown across the screen, but they can technical.
IMO it depends on the situation. If it’s earlier in the match I use raida for stun since I’m constantly going for stun. But if they are low on life I’d rather use kazgiri to get them closer to the KO. Also, depends on the character I’m fighting, I don’t exactly want to send a good zone character to the other side of the screen.
Is there a thread that has Ibuki’s BnB’s in it ??
c.lp, c.lp, s.lp, s.mk xx special
or
c.lp, c.lp, s.mk xx special
^^ just to make sure, BNB is bread and butter right? like by means the most used thing by ibuki right? aint in that case then tis vortex’s?
or BNB only to most used Combos?
BnB usually refers to most useful combos.
Vortex requires a knockdown. You do a BnB to get one.
can anyone help me with the timing for tk kunai. i know its qcf up but i dont know how to get it out consistently
you like moves that get cancel into SJC kunai?
there are a lot of notations for them Mountaindrew.
-qcf, f/u,f, f/d +punch (or even motion tell down)
- simply excute d/f, f/u (for super jump cancel) and then preform a quick kunai
- if ur talkin about cr.fp into SJC kunai, then u dont have to do super jump. all u have to do is simply f/u to jump after the cr.fp and then preform a quick Kunai. if u have super bar then dont try to link it quick or else sometimes the super might come out instead, so in that case do f/u (Pause) and then kunai.
hope that’s wut u meant cause i really dont know wuts the shortcut term for TK kunai*
hope that i was helpfull in any kind of way. also it was mentioned in this thread i believe somewhere…try goin through the past 2 pages or something, or maybe it’s in another topic am not sure.
well i was talking about tiger knee kunai and adding the extra df after uf really helped me out. thanks a bunch man
whats the recovery for whiffed hien?
i catch a lot of people on wakeup whiffing into throw, sorta like bisons whiff DR
According to Eventhubs, 6+11, and even worse recovery with EX. Sounds like you’re catching a lot of noobs.
Please help me, am im missing something here? Ibuki’s BnB - C.lp, c.lp, s.mk > MK Tsumuji. How are you guys doing this. Im spending way too long intraining for this to not come out consistently for me. Do you leave the stick at neutral for the s.mk part? I keep missing the mk>mk Tsumuji link over and over and end up doing a hien more often than not.
I shouldnt be struggling with a BnB this simple after playing sf for years. Any advice anyone?
^^ hey tosh. Cr.lp into MK is harder my man cause it’s 1 frame link. the idea of her BNB’s is that anything that can Quickly catch the opponent and then link it into st.mk. like for instant : st.mp, st.lp, st.mk.
or just directly st.lp into st.mk…though that is my opinion , others may disagree. the most useful thing for Ibuki is wut u said, this 1 frame link of cr.lp into st.mk. though doesnt mean that this is the only one were u must use!!
by means:try makin everything easier for ur self, go for cr.lp, st.lp into st.mk.
the reason why some people use cr.lp into st.mk instead, is because some characters on crouch can evade the st.lp…in that case i myself go for st.mp, st.lp, s.mk. st…mp will get em off from crouch and on the other hand same punishment as those other two.also it’s easy execution. just go for easy stuff, soemthing like that is important(that’s for sure) but it doesnt mean that it’s not substitutable
Yes we leave it neutral for the st.MK part. If you press any directional input, you get a non st.MK.
cr.LP , st.MK is a 1 frame link, but it seems the main problem is that you cannot get the inputs right, since you say a hien comes out instead of tsumuji. Go into training mode and turn on Input Display. Then keep doing the combo until you get it correct and clean, without too many extra inputs. Btw are you sure the 1 frame link is not causing you a problem? Very strange to see someone struggling with st.MK xx tsumuji instead of cr.LP , st.MK 1 frame link.
I dunno what xxteefxx posted in his mini wall of text there but it’s probably dumb and off topic and not related to your problem at all.
Now now gents please…Thank you both for your help. Ill go back to training and see what i can do. 1 framers are tricky but shouldnt be a major problem.
i guess im getting a bit frustrated. iv spent a month working on this bitch and my progress is zero. im losing more now than when i first picked her up. Hard work ibuki is but im sure she is gonna be a really decent character when the metagame is worked out so im sticking with her despite the setbacks.
ibuki command grab
why is her command grab the only one blockable is it because she would be op if she did have it unblockable
