Damn, didn’t know my question would cause such a massive discussion, haha.
Look, teef, what I meant is shown in . I get that version of the vortex nearly every time: I, Ibuki, am on P2 side, and all my opponent has to do to block my vortex is press right(like Sagat does to block the vortex in the vid).
My question was, are there any tips on how to do the vortex in such a way, that my opponent would have to block away from where Ibuki starts to block the kunai. So if I’m on P2 side with Ibuki, I jump, throw kunai, my opponent has to block by pressing left, I land on P1 side and start an attack(don’t know how auto-block works exactly, so let’s ignore that: he would now have to change the direction in which he’s blocking to block my attack).
Klazzix got my question right, thanks for the answer mayne. I’ll test normal jump kunai today.
I’m not entirely sure, but if you do a normal jump to vortex, you might be more susceptible to like reversal dp.
Yeah I think this is correct. I cannot get a normal jump + crossup kunai without Sagat being able to simply reversal TU out of it. Someone else can confirm/deny. It does seem to be safe though if you do a non crossup kunai.
sigh tanner…Human make mistakes, though people who keeps on trash talkin/ bragging/ swearing cursing bout how a person was wrong proves nothing but he/she is just words…by means outside the box of video games, this person is seriously nothing. atleast i engaged in something to prove a point, NOT just words and cursing and being dis-respectful…i did my best to try and prove cause i DIDNT KNOW IT! (thnx to the auto block). if u were respectful from the start and told me here’s the vid now shut up, then it would’ve ended…but no you kids like to play adult, so u have to take ur turn insulting, showing off and trash talking.
but hey! tis a forum, u can do wutever u want as well as I …am here to learn and have fun with the game, not to brag bout how cool! or AWSM leet skills i am. if u wanna brag bout it and that am on the other side a nub due to wutever reason, then simply am not gonna waste my time on u and no need to disrespect…atleast am always in the show of making combos/ stuff videos to prove that i learn something and teach others or learn from others…u and others on the other hand, all u can do is type on others replies.
anyways, thnx for ur reply…and again YES i was wrong, am sorry…but i cant help it cause am a human being, as well as u are?
Quote: Dont jump:
Rofl…have fun. PS: wall txt…it’s a forum u know that? that’s the place to type >_>…if it’s bugging u just dont read it man…ignore me by means*
Anyone know any practical sjc kunai or insta kunai setups? i know cr.hp xx sjc kunai combos but im trying to mess around with insta kunai followups to get back in and maintain pressure.
For example after a blocked mk. tsumuji i do, hp.insta-kunai > f.lk xx lk.tsumuji.
Against non shotos, I like to do a launcher combo followed by normal jump/sjc kunai. If you time it right, you can make the kunai crossup. It’s not exactly an insta kunai, but it does let you maintain pressure and gives you a chance to continue vortexing.
im having a problem where i would do cr lp,cr lp,st lp,st mk into neckbreaker well i cant technically do it well actually its 50/50 sometimes the neckbreaker doesnt come out. like sometimes i can get the link to come out without the neckbreaker and sometimes as im about to do the st mk it goes into cr mk so my dillema is i get either cr mk or no neckbreaker can you help me spot the cause cuz im in training practicing this thing and its confusing the hell out of me
