This isn’t a block-string. Unlike 3S people can just mash and punish a 1-frame gap easily.
cr.Jab, st.Forward is not a block-string.
st.Forward xx Foward Tsumuji is not a block-string.
cr.Jab, st.Jab is a block-string.
st.Forward, Short Tsumuji is a block-string.
haha I forgot I disliked that about this game. No creative parry-baiting or interesting custom block-strings. Even DoA has that over SF4 lol and that has 22-frame counters that do up to 30% damage.
Try them. Test if they will likely mash something when they are blocking. If so, you’ll get hit by one shoryuken, and then you’ll be able to have fun with them by doing cr.LP cr.LP cr.LP xx nothing, waiting for them to mash something and get punished.
If you happen to land Ultra 2 on them, after ultra 2, do HK Command dash? 90% of mashers will just mash a shoryu/an ultra, thinking they will hit. Punish again.
The easiest way to test if something is a ture block-string is to just look at frame-data. If you can’t read frame-data, just** record** the string, and try to get hit in between it.
Again, unlike 3S, SFIV forces you to block a true block-string. If there’s a 1-frame gap you’ll get as you return your stick to neutral.
There’s no point testing to see if you can mash.
EDIT: Whoa, apparently Nozomi from Shenmue is from Canada. Gobsmacked.
Try not use “Jap”, is a racial slur that the Australians used.
The problem with a lot of Japanese models is that they don’t have any figure, but then again I’m not into the whole super-skinny super model thing anyway. Unless you’re talking about Hoshino Aki. I love that one.
Spoiler
Hoshino Aki is a busty Japanese Model, but the joke here is that it is Kuroda’s handle in GGPO.

I love how relaxed this forum is, whilst everyone question is answered without any sarcasm or hidden speculation. =)
It’s nearly impossible to say anything that will be politically correct and won’t offend somebody in the universe. So that’s why I don’t bother. It also helps when you already don’t give a crap about other peoples’ feelings.
