Hi I’m having a bit of a problem getting this thing to actualy run with the english patch.
It just keeps telling me I need patch 1.11 and refusing to run even though I already have it installed.
I’ve tried uninstalling the english patch then re-installing it but nothing works, any help would be appreciated because I am really at my wits end here trying to get it to work.
Uhh this is very self explanatory. Your game isn’t patched properly. If you’re the same guy who dropped by IRC a few hours ago you probably don’t have the full game which takes over a gig HD space.
If it says “IaMP is not patched to v1.11!”, the exact test at that point is it looks for th075b.dat and makes sure it’s the right size. This file is installed by the 1.11 patch: If you don’t have it, then you are not correctly patched. If it says something else, your install is proooobably completely screwed. The patcher might have problems if you have kanji in your directory name for the game.
If you have any more problems I suggest taking them to IRC or PM, things like this are a pain(and spammy) to troubleshoot on forum threads.
