the rio is right next to ceasers like walking distance right?
Caesars is sort of close not really. You can go through our industrial streets from The Frank Sinatra/Dean Martin Underpass near the forum shops and walk up Twain Ave to see the pavillion on your left… Check google maps you should be able to walk it. Maybe takes you like 15 mins to walk it. Or just hop across the street to the Harrahs and use our free shuttle service that can you take you to the Rio. Every 30 mins.
I’m all about tipping housekeeping, what is the best way to do this at the Rio? Envelope marked “TIPS” on the bed or what? (I tip everyday.)
They usually have a small envelope that’s left in the room on day shift.
Ok I have a serious question. Which room is Evo being held in? One of the Amazon rooms? If so, which one?
Flip flop you win for this!!!
Damn, I check in at like 5:30. I really need 2 beds am I fucked?
We’ve got one of the LG TVs in our room. The input button on the side doesn’t work and the remote doesn’t have a button for changing the input channel.
We rang the front desk and we were told it’s like that on purpose as they don’t allow outside devices to use their televisions.
Please say this isn’t true?
If it is, then the Rio was the worst choice they could have made for hosting Evo.
Most hotels are like that. Your best bet is to go buy a cheap universal remote that will let you change the input.
evo is in the pavillion ballroom, same room as '09 i believe, umm i can’t remember exact way to get there, just that its a hallway that leads north (?) from the casino floor.
In case I have to work over the weekend, is there a good place to go for cheaper/better Internet? (I remote into my work PC). I have a car so I can drive to any net cafe, etc.
My mom bought me and my girlfriend a flight and reservation (Graduation present), paid for the rooms and all that. (She did it through allegiant air).
I know you need a credit card to put a hold on when you check in. Do we need the same credit card as paid for the rooms? (As in, do we need my moms credit card or will my card be fine?)
I know some hotels to check in you need the credit card that booked the stuff with.
Thanks in advanced.
uh from my knowledge and partial experience certain mc donalds and most starbucks do have wifi, so does the university not too far from rio but you might need a student log in for that… starbucks wifi isn’t too bad and suprisingly the mc donalds in the ghetto had amazing wifi
We are slowly transitioning from old ass CRTs to new LCDs. Sorry, but yeah, most hotels don’t allow external hook-ups. But I am sure there is workarounds.
The internet that actually runs inside the pavillion is run by Cox cable. They provide very fast service if you truly need it.
If your mom has truly paid for your room, she should of signed a credit card authorization form. If she just booked your flight and hotel reservation with her creditcard over the phone, then unfortunately we will need another credit card to hold for the room as a security deposit. Do you check in today or tomorrow? Send me a PM.
When do you check-in? Just shoot me a PM if you have a any trouble.
